3000 mah battery and no sd , it doesnt look good for note 5 , if sony can make a battery over 4000 mah for z5 ultra,it would shake note 5's kingdom ,whatever iphone 6s plus obliterate them

Sony are so far behind and insignificant I doubt Samsung will even care

Apple, LG, Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, ZTE are who Samsung are watching.

The Note 5 certainly isn't going to impress me, but I can certainly bet it will still be a better Phablet than whatever Sony bring.

Real live pictures of Note 4, seems like the only major upgrade thisvyear was dropping of removable battery and so card support

I hate having a smaller battery. They did it with the Galaxy S6 and now seemingly with the latest of the Note series. With the S6 battery life wasn't what many thought it would be. I use my phone a lot in one day and its not nice that the battery life might be reduced and compromise my daily use. Not nice Sammy. Not nice!

Apparently it will be a 4100mAn battery :
http://www.phonearena.com/new[....]-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5_id72423

That alone may make want to get it. The Galaxy Note 4 has fantastic battery life with a 3220mAh battery 5.7inch display, and old 28nm Snapdragon 805 can you imagine how the Note 5 will be with the same sized Display but with a 14nm Samsung Exynos 7420 CPU and huge 4100mAh battery? going to be incredible.

Now if they make a 128GB Model globally available then I am in.

It will be the perfect combo, having a 14nm Exynos Note, with Wolfson DAC, 128GB mem and a huge 4100mAh battery. As good as Qualcomm are, Samsung Exynos always seems to be a couple steps ahead for the last couple of years. I remember when people ridiculed Samsung for the Exynos Octa in the S4, 2years later and now Qualcomm are struggling with a rubbish Octa Core Snapdragon 810, while Samsung were so far ahead they refined the Octa CPU and have the very best offering in the market for themselves and Meizu.

Although I wouldn't consider the Note 5 because of the lack of micrsd I have to admit that if he rumour of 4100 battery is true then this is a impressive accomplishment

I don't have the S6 so no I am not on 5.1.1

Aussie, It seems the Note 5 will have a 3000Mah Battery per most articles I have seen so far. Not nice

skblakee, thanks that's what I thought too. The link tspez posted seemed pretty believable but I was wondering too how will they achieve to slim down the phone and insert such a large battery

I think it is possible to fit a 4100mAh battery in a slim body, they could make the battery flat, wide and long. I also do not believe that we have true measurements of the phone, it may actually be a tiny bit slimmer than the Note 4, but due to the tapering rear glass it may give the impression that it is much slimmer.

Here's to hoping it is 4100mAh. It makes no sense to me that both S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 share the same battery when one has a smaller battery. IMHO.
