Why are you so surprised about the lack of OIS? It was clear that Sony isn't ready for it. Personally I'm not a fan of it, it can't be turned off and it's bad for videos. Sensor shift stabilization should be better, I hope Sony manages to shrink it.
Why f2.0 instead of f1.8? Short answer - sensor size. Z5 has bigger sensor than S6 and G4, overall amount of captured light is similar. Don't forget that brighter lens with bigger ensor also mean more noise/artifacts.
????
lol
Designing bright and compact (for mobile) lens for a big sensor is quite difficult. |

there are some full sized pictures tanken by gsmarena, and the ones taken by sony too in full size in this link
the results are good, even though i expected more. At least the optical system is now flawless, no more corner blur, no more pincushion distortion, everything is sharp and on focus, little chromatic aberrations, no flare, very impressive.
there is a fair amount of grain, the processing isnt quite right, but i wasnt expectation much from sony, at least the final results are good this time

nothing about new smartwatch? Hmm, I was waiting for that. Perhaps, Sony is going to announce Wena later.

Cant see any mention of wireless charging for any of the Z5 range? Did Sony just not bother then?
I wouldn't pay between £550 & £700 for a phone I had to plug in to charge!
