Maybe sony made a secret deal with them. Imo Samsung should have 4k panel ready for note 6 as it was already reported last year that they are working on one.
I believe the samsung would be an amoled, not sure what size, maybe 5.7 like the current note or maybe even 6. But it seems another company has beat samsung to the game, Everdisplay showed off the world's first 4k amoled screen at 6 inches.

I'll be honest, I have never heard of Everdisplay, checking their site shows that they produce 5, 5.5 and 6 inch HD amoled screens, so jumping from HD all the way to 4k seems crazy.
Wonder if samsung will show off any 4k mobile screens at IFA or safe such tech for a display trade show. |

She said "Sony never include OIS into this phone as well. Its a no-brainer, as past phones also did not include OIS. "
But I prefer witout OIS as Sony did better with their own stabilizing technology. |

ois helps to low light photos also , it will go higher iso that causes more noise and ois doesnt mean sony wouldnt use software stabilization.i hope z5c and z5p will have ois at least. |

evleaks said something about ois, and other sources said only compact version would suport it (i highly doubt).
but well, if it doesnt come with ois, at least it has a f1.8, 6 element lens, PDAF, big sensor and suposedly imx3xx line. it seems to good to be true actually.

The only negative part about OIS is imo the wobbling effect which sometimes occurs in videos. Beside that I can't see anything negative about OIS but just positive effects like improved low light photos which blackzeros already mentioned.
Since all major OEM's are implementing OIS (even the chinese) I wonder why Sony doesn't.

If they adding OIS only to compact then it must be the thickness, as compact is the thickest of all flaggies

yeah it makes sense, but i doubt that sony would include something exclusive to the compact version while the other flagships wouldnt feature it. but lets hope they do lol |

^^ As androidorigin and kuro ne ko mentioned, no front sony logo, sleek. This might be the best omnibalance evolution.
Some imx300 spec:

If the phone arena information is to be believed, then it seems the Z5+ is nothing more than a slightly larger Z5, perhaps it will offer 4GB of ram instead of 3. Sure it has a QHD display but at 5.5 inches, not sure I would call this a phablet.
While a 4k screen would be great for advertising and promotion, I doubt it would bring much in terms of improved usability. Perhaps the original goal was a 4k screen but the 810 was only mediocre in running it adequately, so the idea was dropped until the 820 arrives.
Not sure I like the missing sony logo from the front, perhaps it is to appeal to the US carriers who love to blast their logos on the front of devices. It kind of reminds of the current crop of Vaios, they have vaio branding but no sony logo
Depending on how good the camera will be, I may replace my z3 but if the camera overheats too quickly, then I'd rather dump the money into a new alpha camera. |

I believe the final spec regarding the ram will be:
compact 3gb
z5 and z5+ 4gb
It is hard to believe otherwise especially when it comes to z5+, the premium version. |

lets see how this will end but i think z5+ will have 4gb ram at least.
stook said z5+ proto had fhd screen and phonearena source says 2k for z5+ , it's no doubt sony uses diffrent specs for prototype devices.
whatever zackbuks (he's a pretty trustworthy source i believe) talked about phonearena news and said pyshical screen isnt 2k , but software run at 2k and 1080p?, he also said same thing before(4k screen 2k software render).

A Qhd screen alone don't justify to call the bigger Z5 "premium". Add 4GB ram, OIS and wireless charging to differentiate it from the standard Z5. |
