Well, perhaps I shouldn't have purchased a non Sony branded dock then 😂 only cost me £6 it works but charges slow

Doesn't it depend on the power of the mains charger?
In my experience, charging from the mains is quicker.

I've no idea because it came in a plain white package with nothing else not even any stickers on. As I say it works but seems slow. I use the Z3C charging plug with it

Am becoming increasingly frustrated because for more than 2 weeks now we've barely had any sunshine here 😢 I haven't been able to test this phones camera in it's full potential in glorious wall to wall sunshine ☀ Hopefully soon some nice autumn colours with sunshine ☀ it's been grey or wet all the time

If that's where you ordered one I think that ain't genuine. Does it have the Sony logo on top like this?
People are reporting faster charging on the dock in XDA, so you either have a fake dock or a defective genuine one.
Plus Amazon and Clove are selling it at around £25.

I know it wasn't a Sony I tried to save money and got what I paid for  I do know when I buy something genuine Sony branded or not. I just decided to buy a cheap non Sony branded one & got bitten

But doesn't the charging speed depend upon the adapter? So if you use the Non branded dock with your OEM wall Adapter, it should work fine right?
I've been using a non branded magnetic cable from eBay along with the OEM adapter and it charges as fast as the OEM charger itself.

Yeah I use the Sony charger with the dock but it is really slow charging so must be a crap one

What a difference the weather makes we had some sunshine this morning & the photos in sunny weather is a world of difference. Nice & tack sharp although colours can be a touch pale
