Yes, that is also there but this is a different, more transparent one, which slips into a reserved space at the top of the home screen. It also stays there regardless of which screen you are viewing.

Yeah, thanks. It was a bit of a pain rebuilding my launcher layout but at least the search bar is back.

Does anyone find that occasionally you need to make a big 'swipe' in order to switch screens? On the odd occasion I've went to switch screens and it just bounces back to the previous

Not on the main home screen but on the lock-screen widgets i have - but i've still got the film on it while i wait my rhino shield. However, with it still there i have noticed a difference, well more of a reluctance in fact.

On another note, that magnetic charge cable arrived and it works well. What i didn't expect was how you have to handle the phone carefully in case it gets knocked off and you assume it's charging away. First world problems i guess

Yes I did have this on the first day but it stopped,
maybe because I use a different wallpaper..?
Try this wallpaper and see if it still does.

Is this what you guys are talking about?

The Persistent Google Search Bar on the Xperia Z3 can be slightly baffling

The screen record feature works when you open Snapchats too, which is good.

Can't wait to get this thing covered, I'm terrified of dropping it onto concrete.

So I've been using a Z3C now for a day and a bit now still trying to make my mind up from switching from my Z1 to this. I must say the battery life is amazing as good as Sony say. So far from 100% charge I've hammered the phone with the screen on full brightness the phone has now been discharging for 20 hours now as I type I've still got 31% battery left but managed over 6 hours on screen time again with full brightness. The only thing I haven't done is made any calls or texts (as I don't want to switch to a nano sim just yet) but everything else I've done on the Z3C from music, YouTube, e-mails, photos, videos and played a few games and dowloaded a few apps. Here are a few screen shots of the battery useage.

very good indeed.

Always impressive battery life, it's like the biggest thing about it when I read reviews.

YOu won't regret it! According to Clove this phone has been flying out. I wonder how it's selling against the Z3.

Just had a quick look at Clove and they only have the black currently available with both the white and orange out of stock but due back soon in a few days or so.
