Is the 5C's plastic as flexible as the S4's back cover? In other words can it handle being bent extremely without snapping? Would be interesting to see if anyone has tried that with the 5C's shell.

Trying to bend an iPhone 5c? That's called destructive testing...

I meant the shell when the phone is disassembled.

No thank you, the 5C for me would be going backwards and would probably gather dust along with my Galaxy S2 and the iPhone4S we've got lying around somewhere here.

I'd like proof of the iPhone 5C plastic shell being bent, you've got me really interested now as that would give us an idea of how durable the 5C's plastic cover is, here's a pic of my GS4 back cover:

Samsung's plastic from my experience has been better and more durable than what people think or as on here presume. Aluminum scratches easily

So you couldn't prove it, thanks for confirming what I thought.

Apologies to all for going off topic.

"We'd prefer to focus on the software improvements."

thats just a load of crap.........every other cellphone company does not focus on the software ??

nice lying,,,,Hun Kim. (its about money...and Samsung didnt want to spend more money on S5)

Not sure what it proves when you show that the battery cover can bend.

To me a flexible battery cover only shows that the plastic material is different - not better - than the kind used in Nokia's Lumia phones and the iPhone 5c.

Metal or aluminum scuffs and scratches easily plastic surgery is less prone to this and less lightly to show scuff marks. And plastic also is alot more durable than many realise. I've not had any Samsung phone crack or have creaky build except the Note 2 which the back cover creaked like an old ship. Bit the majority nope
