Hans Are you much of a reader. She now has hit another brick wall. Her Android/WP transition aint going as smooth as mine Google TTS and the ability for your phone to read out aloud your ebooks. She cant find nothing.Only app Ive managed to find called Reader4Books gets a 2 star rating.Told her to try it.Maybe it will do an ok job for the time being.Any suggestion guys?

I do read, but I prefer paper. I never tried a spoken book.

I have my phone set to English. Having a Dutch message read to you makes absolutely no sense

I agree, since the dawn of ages I've been using my phones in English and not spanish, back then the Spanish TTS was awful and sounded like a cat

Hobbs:
I'm very happy. I never had the purple hue in my screen, the only thing was the battery but now seems to be performing well.
I always tend to install tons of apps, perhaps they are free for a day or something, and forget to use them at all. So I started removing apps I dont need or use. That should be suffice.

Thats one thing Im not missing from using Android.Excessive app downloading.Having 5 different web browsers, photo editors,music/video players etc There was just so much good stuff to choose from you always felt like you needed them all. With WP theres 1 really top notch app and if you lucky 2.Therefor you appreciate it so much more.Just installed Opera Mini Beta out of curiuosity.Dont know if I like it as yet. Will use a little longer before I decide if it stays or goes.

I find that annoying cos I find IE11 doesn't render webpages all that well as Android Chrome does. I would rather have the choice of different apps
Phone?? What phone??

IE11 so far does a good job to websites I go. At least a much better job than Safari in my iPod touch 5.

IE11 works fine here for me on both my 930 & my desktop pc.

Never liked Chrome & wont have it anywhere near any of my computers, then again I just don't like the company it come's from

I can't see me ever having an Android device again, I just find Windows Phone so much better to use

I agree with all of the above. IE11 on both my 1520 and desktop is far better than chrome. I still have an Android handset and never use chrome on that either, I always use the std internet application.

Sorry but I use both as well and while I can understand that you might prefer one over the other to say that Chrome is worst than IE is flat out wrong . Fact is IE still has some websites it can't display properly , Chrome offers automatic translation and IE is in no way faster or smoother (on my android handsets at least).

Sorry Aussie but I'm not wrong. I'm just speaking from a personal point of view. I'd rather user IE11 than any other browser. I'm not saying anybody is wrong or right, I just agree with PowerLee's comments. Horses for courses fella, if your happy with chrome that's great, me I'll take IE anyday !

IE11 is very fast and fluid on Windows 8.1 ... scrolling is times better than the other two. I also prefer FF over Chrome.

The metro version on my Lumia 2520 is superior to anything I've seen on any other tablet besides the Surface Pro 3
