I know, it's really a lame reason. And CLEARLY in the daylight shots Z2 photos have significantly less details so its not just about saturation. One Plus One pictures have more detail, higher saturation AND properly focused unlike the blurry mess with Z2.

And nor can the excuse of Superior Auto mode being crappy can be applied here as these pics are taken in manual mode. Indoor shots from Z2 are competitive though.

OnePlus has definately LESS detail bar the banana photo.
Are you blind?
Saturation is nothing good and - what blurry mess??
It's a focal depth you moron, OnePlus behaves like typical smartphone camera where everything is flat.
Z2 takes the detail of the place where it's focussed and the rest is naturally not zoomed, that's how better cameras behave.

Some of you guys have very little clue indeed.

I think its time for you to get your eyes checked

Very interesting reasoning to defend the weakness of the low quality Sony G Lens

While I wouldn't call the z2 photos a blurry mess calling randomuser a moron and blind is uncalled for. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you should respect other people's choices. I also don't see more detail in the daylight photos for z2 - I already acknowledged that there is definitely more detail in the z2 indoor photos though (compared to the one plus photos)

doministry, what you are talking about has indeed place but only of objects at distance < 3m. Macro shots are indeed good on Z2. But look at any landscape shot from Z2, when everything is about 100-200m away, how in the world is the center ok and side blurry? Can you explain how the Z2 is so awesome that it focuses on center and side is blurry, even when it's at the same distance? Only crap cameras behave this way...

@admad
I agree with you when the pictures is sharp on the center and blurry in the corners that cameras is nothing but crap just like this camera :
Fujifilm XF1
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/fuji-xf1/fuji-xf1A.HTM

Canon G15
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-g15/canon-g15A.HTM

And I think its time for people on IR to get their eyes checked, because how could they pick crap camera like Fujifilm XF1 to be one of the best pocket camera.

Hahahahahaha! That's what I'm talking about. Thx.
Some people here discuss things they have no clue about.
Maybe it's time for little education?
Everyboy can have their own opinion but if it's just lack of basic knowledge, it's worthless cr..p nothing more.
If some of you don't even know what focal depth is and you really think that the flat One photos are correct, than well,
you really believe Sony is charged by complete idiots.
And the same for any other digital camera with decent quality...
Sorry but nothing explains lack of basics.

I don't think you can quite grasp admad's post- he acknowledged that the macro shots by z2 are fine due to the small distance. However for shots taken at a longer distance none of the Fuji xf1 shots are sharp in the middle and blurry in the corners so I am not sure what you are trying to prove?

Not true, even very expensive DSLR lenses are sharper at the center of the frame and gradually become less sharp / softer / more brurred the further away you go from the center. This is even if you are shooting a flat object from distance of 500m or more. Of course in some lenses this effect is stronger than in others, but it can never be fully eliminated, because of the laws of physics (optics to be more precise).

For the same reasons, even the best DSLR will not let you focus (with maximum sharpness) on an object placed in a corner of the frame. Some DSLR have more than 50 possible focus points and none of them are placed in the corners, or even close to the corners.

I'm no photography expert, but if I remember it right that the G lens is supposed to increase the bokeh effect of the camera. I don't know, probably the G lens is just not as good in mobile camera as it is on DSLRs.
