I still don't see .402.

And although the phone is fantastic in every way,
There are little annoying battery glitches.

Like when I use it continuously browsing for instance, after I stop
it still drains battery in the backround. Not much, but for instance in the FlightMode 5% for 10hrs.
And often it's 0%. So it's not consistent at times.

I got .402 as soon as it came

and yes the only issue i am facing is the odd heat surge and battery drop during that time.lasts for about 15mins.Else all is superb so far.I have only gone below 40% of battery at the e.o.d once i think. Bought a magnetic charging cable and haven't opened the flaps for 3 weeks

What you can do is: when the heat surge occurs, enable developer settings on the device and enable "showing CPU usage" under the developer settings.

The app responsible for the surge in battery consumption / heat should be very high on CPU usage at least for a few minutes which leads to those two effects.

It could well be a third-party app that you have installed.

I tried it but didn't see anything weird there.

Today overninght on FlightMode 4%. It used to be 0%.
In the batt usage index I also don't see anything strange.

Why don't you flash the firmware from another region with Flashtool? It does not void you warranty and the process is in no way different or more complex than updating with PC Companion. It basically does the same thing to the device as the official tool.

Plus I don't think there should be any real differences between firmware for different regions. They should all have an option to set Polish as your device's main language. Probably the main difference is that Polish is not the language selected by default and sometimes there are differences in the included bloatware from region to region, but you can always uninstall that.

Flashtool lets you choose between wiping your data + apps you've installed (make a clean installation) or keeping your stuff intact.

I've been doing this since 2010 and my X10 mini and never had a problem. You can get more info about it on XDA

Sure. But I would prefer my country's ROM at the moment.
