Muhammad-Oli, I am not sure if it helps. I had a problem with Moto G not connecting to my WiFi router. Then used Wi-Fi Ruler app to find and connect to the router. After connecting once with this app, the phone had no connection issues, i.e. it connects automatically.

I periodically have an issue with the wifi where it just refuses to switch on. Have to turn airplane mode on and off in order to get it to work again.
Anyone else get this

Yes. I rebooted my phone today because wifi refused to switch itself on.
My location based wifi feature isn't working either. Wifi remains on all day even after I've moved away from a known wifi spot (my home). On the Xperia Z, location based wifi worked flawlessly.

Guys!
I found an italian site where they sell the Xperia Z2 at 579 euros + a free SmartBand!!!!
I do not know if it also sell to other EU nations, but it's worth checking out!
http://www.glistockisti.it/so[....]le-smartband-swr110-black.html

As of now I am really considering buying it, asking my parents the money and them give the money back to them this summer... it is a great offer... I'm just concerned about the site... I need to know if I can trust them or not... what do you guys think?
I'm searching for feedback all-over the NET as of now!

Has anyone experienced self-cracking issue?

It seems to be just some manufacturing defect rather than design flaw to me since not many are experiencing it. I'm now wondering if they should put the shatterproof sheet again.

A shatterproof sheet wouldn't stop it from cracking. A shatterproof sheet is only designed to stop the pieces of class falling out if it does shatter.

Its a bit like putting sellotape/scotch all over a window and then hitting the window with a hammer - the sellotape hasn't prevented it from breaking, but it has stopped the pieces going everywhere.

Nothing cracks on it's own... It's the users fault and they lie that the glass cracked itself... This doesn't happen...

Maybe they want to avoid spending on the replacement of the glass and they hope Sony will fix it for free by acting like they didn't did anything and it broke itself...

My Z1 has falls badly so many times daily (I have 1 yr old girl who uses and also throws my phone) and it's not shattered...

In some situations it might crack but that would be the users fault....

@dalmac, I've read somewhere that it's supposed to absorb shock?

@hgautam, I do really hope that this is just that but I think that this is poor quality control.
This makes me doubt all those brands such as Gorilla glass or that dragontrail glass used by Sony. My friend's Note 3 had a crack screen and it baffles me how it happened when Gorilla glass is supposed to be damage-resistant.

if that doesn't happen to you.. then thank god and shut up.

it's a known issue since the original Z and Xperiablog [link] has explained it and says that Sony will replace the defected unite under warranty as long as the crack match the following pics.. still though there's no official statement from Sony website, just some inside info. and that's why some retailers on various country refused to replace it or fix it

above all it's about the glass and frailness.. it happened for HTC and iPhone, when poor installation occur glass will fall apart, especially if there is a GAP that doesn't hold the glass properly with heat exchange and air pressure will absolute harm the straightness of any glass

Gorilla glass is not damage-resistant. It's slightly stronger than the kind of glass that used to be on mobiles, but that's it.
All glass is breakable. It's as simple as that.

Sony need to sort out their HDR, Panorama and a few other things in the Z3, Z4, Z5 etc.

Also the 20.7MP is just a gimmick because if you shoot in 20.7MP the detail is actually worse than when shooting with 8MP, also you can only use HDR and scene modes in 8MP.
