Well of course, but why couldnt they at least provide 32GB internal storage? The cost of additional 16GB is about 2$ for manufacturer, is it really worth it leaving at only 16? |

Android no longer allows installing apps to SD, Samsung remain the only OEM who have "fixed" that in their phones, but in other OEM phones such as the Z2 you only have the 16GB to install apps, games, download files to etc... And with games getting larger, you'll install 2-3 good games, some apps, and then have to keep an eye on memory. I hate what Google have done to Android, we now have the most powerful phones, yet memory has been made a problem area.

True especially since SanDisk announced MicroSD 128GB Class 10 XC today as well
Tsegz, false. Google doesn't allow installing in MicroSD but AOSP builds do considering Nokia has it on the X,X+XL

Prices in UK/Europe is always higher...
Price in Germany is 599 Euro, cheaper than the launch price of Z1 ( 649 Euro )
And It might have a 599 price tag, in Euros and USD depending on the market... $600 is good price actually...

I was interested in Z1 but got turned down from Screen and Speaker... this time everything is better... Maybe is the time to pass to Xperia with this Z2...

What I'm talking about is Google's version of Android where they have put these limits.
You can go ahead and load up a 128MicroSDXC, but you will still run into memory issues with just 16GB internal, especially if you do a lot of Gaming, Instagram, Vine etc...you'll be shocked at how much data social network apps,and games store in your phone. When I formatted my phone yesterday I checked in File Manager to see what I must backup to SD, found a ton of my Instagram Videos, WhatsApp pics+vids, Vine vids etc... Thankfully I have 32GB internal so I didn't run out of memory, still had +18GB left, but you can see how this can become an issue overtime with just 16GB internal.
Anyway, great job by Sony in everything else, looking forward to seeing how the Snapdragon 801 performs against the 800.
