You're absolutely right. It was a mistake to feed him.

Ranjith, is the low ringer volume (one speaker only) problem limited to phone calls or does it also happen with skype and other messengers?

During Phone calls its fine nothing to brag or nothing to complain about.Ill check back and let you know about SKYPE.As a ringer and even while playing back music the volume is very very average.Need to check with other devices to confirm.

S5 has a better camera end of story that's confirmed now.

Yeah, let's ignore all the reviews that say the exact opposite!

Wooohooo go S5!!!!

What sites?

GSMArena have said there's no Improvement on the Z1 also phone arena said the S5 is better than the Z2.

On the GSMArena photo tool the Z2 looks horrible.

What are the exact Z2 settings of GSMarena shots?

Yeah you could use some newspaper pages. Stick 9 pages all together on the wall, set lowest ISO possible, use as much artificial light as possible but don't use the Z2's flash.

(If you have too much time and don't know what to do )

(I was bored, but since I have no Z2 I just did it with my S4 as an example!)

(ignore the language, I did not have perfect light and the pages were not aligned perfectly)

dexter, i suppose that's not the lowest s4 ISO. we want to recreate gsmarena's methods so can you try the lowest iso possible?

hmmm... seeing your photos.

looks like it's not a good idea

so i'm withdrawing the request

we can't see the clarity of the lines and patterns. we can't observe the moire effect that should appear if the details are properly captured.

When comparing GS4 shots people must take into account which GS4 variant was used by the reviewer. Remember the GS4 I9505 Quad has an Exmor R sensor while the GS4 I9500 Octa has a superior Exmor RS sensor.

In some pics I've taken I've had my GS4 go down to an ISO level of 50, that seems to be the lowest it can go.

I can try the test nxt week.
Now I'm on a trip...

I would love to know how to sync all my Calendars though!

Anyway GSMarena seems very strange.
I NEVER took such a blurry shot with it lol.
This method stinks.

I will also publish some more shots.
I just took about 150 photos in Brussels today.

http://www.gsmarena.com/piccm[....]44&idPhone2=5596&idPhone3=6033

this is interesting.. the z1 seems to produce cleaner lines

and against the 1520.. at least in the studio, no contest really

I wouldn't consider GSMArena or Phone Arena as unbiased sites. They have both fogged their credibility in the past with some strange conclusions.
PocketNow however is unbiased and the reviewer stated opposite to what you state as a fact from GSMArena and PocketArena.

these review sites never agree on everything. looks like they have different readers they're trying to please.

while nokias look great on gsmarena, we've seen several times when the lumias (not 1020 and 808) performed poorly. in the russian sites for example, the colors of the 1520 are severely off.

here, you can clearly see that the z2 produces clean lines even at the maximum resolution. there are no whitish artifacts similar to those present in gsmarena's 20MP photos.

gsmarena always finds (creates?) faults in xperias. the xperia z was tested during a very cloud day, producing murky shots. the z1 enjoyed some bright sunlight but the right side was blurring (something not seen in the shots taken by phonearena). with the z2, the outdoor shots were again taken during a cloudy day. they had more than 5 days to choose a better day to take shots but they chose to have it on a cloudy day.

compare that to galaxy shots. they're always on a sunny day with blue skies and only some clouds to the sides.
