No problem...

In a German forum people discussing about the two displays. They say both are good, but the most like JDI, cause of more natural colors and more details, as you can see on the pic...

Sorry if this has already been addressed by someone else. I have two issues with my Z1 Compact:

1. I also had this issue on my old Z. I'm using the default messaging app for texting (version 27.2.C.1.3). I find that it quite often freezes, especially when sending/receiveing images. This forces me to go to Settings -> apps -> find the messaging app in the list and then manually turn it off. Is this a common problem? Known reasons and solutions? I'm wondering if the large number of old messages I have stored is causing it?

2. This is a new issue that I haven't had on my previous Android Xperias (Z, S, X10). Quite often when I answer a call I will somehow activate loudspeaker. This never happened on my old phones. Any clue as to what I'm doing wrong?

As of March 14th, Z1 compact has moved up to 6th, and Z2 has shot up to 3rd out of nowhere! Pre-order numbers must be high!

I have this bug on z1 too. It's quite annoying. I guess that it has something to do with bluetooth. Do you use bluetooth head phone or hands free?

Nope, typically no bluetooth / handsfree.

I had the same with my HTC One a few times now.
Reading this I blamed KitKat but that can't be it as Z1 doesn't have that yet.
Very weird and annoying.

Actually as strange as it sounds, its a problem with chrome. Dont know the details but inactivate it or revert to an earlier build helps. Dont use chrome....

It's no bug, we're just not fast enough.
Look closely and you'll notice the speaker turns on after a while. You have to get it at your ear before that .

In a VERY BIG way too! Sony is picking up the pieces they've forgotten about. They keep on this track and they could just very well be a global #3 Android manufacturer and become a restored household brand name for ALL their products just like the 80's!!

Now .....
Sony to bring back the Aibo droid but running Android with improved state of the art sensors!
Their manufaturing robotics division ... run THAT on Android as well.

My £1 amazon case from China has scratched the back plastic. I'm in Morocco and it's pressed dust into the back plastic (can confirm mine as plastic lol). Very annoying. Once I get a single imperfection on my phone, I ditch the case and use the phone naked which is usually a year after use. Anyway, I've been able to take some amazing pictures with superior auto but night shots are crap with the flash. It makes the edge of the picture look green, maybe because the led is too bright. With flash off the pictures are much better with lots of detail. If there is a small light source the pictures turn out quite well.
