What is the little notch at the top of the back panel? The Z1 has it also.

First day at work with my new phone .... everyone wanted to see it and I was all day busy showing off ... but why do I write this? it is because of the battery..
With my older phone I had to charge it before I went home, like to listen to music in the train but was always afraid to be with no juice left... with the Z1 compact I am back home and I still have 62% battery left!,wonderful.

one more test and Even higher result than before

I need one like that. Although I can achieve that by disabling data connection. But I'll wait the price to drop a little.

Data and bluetooth were all day on (for the smart watch).

Guys if you want high scores, don't make your phone processor heat up. The best is to put your phone in a freezer for about 5 mins then run the benchmark. Its like pc overclocking where those people use liquid nitrogen to cool their processors for better running. You will see how significant the score is. So those cold climate countries will score a lot higher. When I ran Antutu when my Z1 was hot I can get as low as 26k. My best score was 35k, did it when I was in overseas in Nepal.

Take a look at the forum where those post were published and see that the members that did it were new...
and it was their first or second post, difficult for me to trust them, maybe the competition feels the heat.

"LIAR! KILLER! DEMON!" [cit.]

Acttually the difference itself is not such a big deal... probably a good plastic would even be better than tempered glas for falls bumps... The fact itself is a bit shameful... where's the need to hide such a minor thing?

Actually if you go on the SonyMobile site it tells this
" Reflective surfaces The Xperia Z1 Compact has a screen made of durable tempered glass that allows you to get so immersed in your content that the hardware virtually disappears."
and this
"Craftsmanship in every detail The Xperia Z1 Compact has been carefully crafted using only premium materials and clean lines. It’s built with a solid one-piece aluminium frame that creates a completely seamless expression, and the screen is made of durable tempered glass that reflects the world around you. And following Sony’s unique design principles, this NFC phone offers balance and symmetry in all directions, so no matter how you’re holding it the feeling is always the same."

they do not talk about front and back glass... but only front..

The trolls keep on going with this bad publicity, wonder who is paying them ...
First it was too dark screen... no, this is the best screen I had on a phone,
than the flash was bleeding something that I can not find on my XZ1C ,
now the glass on the back is plastic,if it is it looks very much like glass and feels like glass...
(maybe it is better to have plastic back.)
But you already write "Sony lies" , before it was proven what it is made from.

Well, the front of the phone and the back of the phone feel the same which to me seems like plastic so I can't tell since the front is confirmed to be glass. You'd have to weigh a glass one and plastic one to tell the difference. I went to the O2 store and compared my lime version to theirs and my one was definitely more yellow/less green than the O2 version. I found that a bit strange but I prefer my more yellow version. As for the flash, it is bright and you can see it bleed through the case but it doesn't affect my pictures. I've had no problems when taking night shots at all.

On a more positive note, my battery life is awesome. The phone is super slick and smooth. Games performance is fantastic. This is the top dog right now and will still be a force after the new flagships come out because of it's size. It's absolutely brilliant.
