Hi everyone..
Not posted for a while...
Got my Xperia Z1 Compact today...
Not sure about the short USB cable to transferall from my Xperia Z to the Z1 Compact but not too bothered with that..
I like the feel of the phone and have it set up the way I like..

Anyway, I disagree strongly about the tablet. It was the tablet with the best form factor and was waterproof. It also had competitive specs, s600 appeared way later in tablets. It was on par with Apple in price. And for good reason. Marketing it wouldn't have been hard. Even die hard iPad fans loved it.
By the way, I noticed your comment on the Engadget review about the stupid negative. Whatever you do, don't read the iPA review. You'll kill yourself when you find out they set a new record for stupidity and mentioned the small screen as a negative.
Yeah, I've already read that. I don't know why they still have Ray S., he's either the head of PA or he gets the most pay from Apple.

no commercial for the Z1 Compact on youtube made by sony yet? no nothing? couldn'd find anything

We're not sure if it's the colour palette Sony has chosen for its custom Android skin or a fault with the tech, but in general the Compact's screen isn't as vibrant as the Amoled and in-plane switching (IPS) displays seen on competing handsets, such as the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5C.
Please don't tell me these people just evaluated the vibrancy of the screen using the wallpaper... Ray S has some competition after all...
Unless the reviewer means the colour palette as in display calibration, which is on a phone with a Sony skin? |

Well these reviewers have to find something new since Sony addressed the viewing angle issue, so now it's "not as vibrant as the competition"

This one's a fair review. I agree on everything, pros and cons, except for the software part. It's all good except that it ain't 4.4 yet.

Just checked out a white one in store, it's really nice and has the correct proportions. It's got a great vibrant screen and does look very polished. I'm going to order myself a lime one, although white and black are nice I love the lime look....from pictures that is. Can't find a live one yet but I'm sure I will like it. Will be on the hunt for a magnetic charger but not willing to pay for the official Sony one. Time to retire my Xperia P which served me well as a camera but ultimately became too slow. |

If you don't mind buying from eBay, I found that a few days ago... Gonna buy it soon. Probably even before buying the Z1 Compact itself haha

I ordered a lime one today from Clove UK for £400. It should be in my hands by the end of the week. I played with it at CPW last week and it's just awesome. |
