My transition to WP from Android has been a smooth one on the app front. Been very conservative regarding what goes on this phone and have seemed to have found and covered everything I need so far.

Apps Installed:

Facebook
Instagram Beta and 6Tag (bounce between the two apps)
Supersport (to cover all my local sporting needs)
News24 (covers all my local news and weather)
BBC & CNN (covers my world news)
Dictionary.com (dictionary-looks so damn good on a WP)
Currency Converter
Flashlight (everyone needs a torch every now and again)
IMDB & Flixster (covers all my movie and TV show needs)
WPtrakt (helps me catalogue and remember where I am with TV series.) TV Series the Android equivalent is available for $3.99 but WPtrakt does the same thing and maybe even better.
myPrivate Safe (stores all my passwords)
TuneIn Radio (covers my online radio needs)
Whatsapp
Wikipedia
AAWP & WPCentral (covers all my WP latest news)

Apps Still searching for:
PhoneMyPC by SoftwareForMe equivalent. (remote desktop app)
DIRadio equivalent (to cover my Electronic/Dance music needs)

Still early days. Haven't explored much in the Store as yet.

I browse photos and like photos using Instagram Beta as it seems faster smoother. But I upload using 6Tag as it gives you the option not to crop the photo plus does Instagram Direct & videos. Not sure why the official app doesn't

A year seperating these two devices.Bizarre comparison.
Thats the amazing thing about this 1520.Its almost a year old and I couldn't be bothered with any of these new beast been announced and released.Maybe I should go visit a doctor or something because I think I'm ill or something.I just looked at a photo of the Note 4's home screen and all my excitement quickly died.Just need a break from Samsungs TW and also Android.Excited for everyone who is going to get one though because its next gen and powerful as hell,hardware/software.For now though I'm loving simplicity and the UI of WP.Love the design and feel of this 1520 and loving the camera.

Agree with all of that and more Hobbs. I made a real mistake selling my 1520 but I have just discovered that a local shop has a yellow version for sale and I'm going to get it tomorrow. It will have no warranty in the UK as the yellow version was never officially on sale here but I'll get 12 months from the shop so I'm covered. Cant wait to get back to the 1520 now after the bad luck I had with the 930.

Wouldn't mind trying the 1520 again just make sure it's not a Hong Kong variant this time. Seen some UK sellers on Ebay for £359 brand new

Will do Hobbs ! I know its going to be a Hong Kong version so the first job will be to flash it with the UK CV rom and the get it restored from my last 930 back up. Pics up later !!

lemmy Awesome.Looking forward to seeing your new baby.

Thank goodness I've sorted out my music library. All my albums when put on the phone would become a massive mess.Just say an album has 20 tracks. It would show as 20 albums with 1 song in the album.Drove me nuts. All these albums I'd use on my Note 2 tagged as they were and they would all display fine. Fired up MP3Tag,removed tags, retagged and everything is now looking good.Im a neat freak when it comes to my music so really pleased thats all sorted.Loving Mix Radio by the way.Use it instead of Music Player.

Ok.....purchased, home, flashed with UK CV rom and restored from back up !! ready to go. Forgive the quality of the pics, I am rushing to get out in the last of the UK summer sun !!

Hobbs, I've just had to re-tag all my music after using the card in an Android phone previously !! never had that issue before.....very strange
