Nope, they are not coming next year, 2-3 years at least, and besides the JOLED partnership is not for mobile phones, but medium sized panels, so laptops, and tablets.

The reason sony don't include 32gb for international variants is again to differentiate tmobile usa and japan carriers variants. sony, it's time to move forward and stop this differentiation habit. put in all the flags 32gb+micro sd and give usa consumers fast and wide carrier availability instead. also, 32gb is not that special anymore. newer phones are getting built it 64gb+micro sd.

Don't expect any major events/announcements till CES/MWC 2015. Maybe one or two mid-range phones for xmas season.

Few days back there was the news that Sony will focus on high-end devices in the future. Do we know when they'll "terminate" the development of entry and mid-rangers?

They should not terminate it, but limit it. Like 1 or 2 mid-range and low-end, that's it. And that they should really stand out, like the past ones (x10 mini/mini pro, mini and mini pro, Neo, Play, Ray, Active, P, U, go, sola, SP). Their mid-range and low-end phones now really look sh*t.

I think the M2 Aqua is as low as they should go. Sony will always be undercut on price in the mid and lower tiers.

@Xajel
Nothing new.

on a side note, even motorola now is reading their own phablet (nexus 6) for this month announcement. more pressure on sony.

Ya but that will run the 805 and not 810 and will not be 64bit, which would be a better choice I feel. If sony does feel the pressure to bring out a phablet, perhaps CES will be more likely than MWC but then I doubt the 810 will be ready for CES.

I really do not know where should I put this link, but I guess this review can give useful information for anyone who interested in QX1 and QX30.

You misunderstand what i wrote. i meant that motorola is just another manufacturer that make phablets more and more relevant and mainstream and puts pressure more on sony to work on a new phablet with high end flagship spec. i didn't mean the next sony phablet should have similar specs to motorola and/or announced at ces. i sure agree that anything announced from sony in 2015 should have 810, 4 gb ram, etc. best event to announce is mwc... there is no need to hurry, better spend time on perfecting it then rehash it to ces (!) or before that and anyway it would be dumb to announce it at ces (electronics event) and a month later announce z4 and z4 tablet which the "wow" effect will be stolen from them, wouldn't make much sense. sony's ifa trio announcements was great imo and should be carried to mwc.

PS4 Remote Play by a gamer (Blunty) + GURLS!

He was very impressed by the remote play in the Z3. It seems latency isn't a problem, as there was very, very minute lag between the display on the TV and on the Z3. Frame rate was also very good. Really impressive work from Sony!

Hopefully they really push marketing on the Z4. Xperia + PS4 is love!

PS. He did mention that the Remote Play capability inside the Xperia devices have proprietary hardware tweaks, I believe to achieve good frame rate and reduce latency. So even if the XDA guys can port it to other Android devices, it shouldn't be as good.
