I guess it will be Z4 tablet... and AFAIK there will no Ultra... none of the insiders ( or peoples who know ) mentioned anything about it, and some said that there's no upcoming Ultra in the timeline.
this is AFAIK, maybe some knows/remember things I've missed.

Looks like Compact will get a successor once a year. So next would be a Z5 Compact (IFA 2015) |

AFAIK, no
Compact and Tablets has a 1 year cycle, only the flagship has half-year cycle...
So you have Z3 compact now, and in next year second half you will have Z5, Z5 Compact ( and maybe Z5 tablet compact also )

Z4 Compact? What could they possible do to justify a Z4 Compact. It would be too soon. I think there will be a Z4, Z4 Tablet and most likely a Z4 Ultra, although I doubt the Ultra.

I guess SONY should reconsider their 6 months refresh strategy.A Z4C..Thats way too early for an update.Maybe SONY should decide if a 6 month update is required depending on how well the current models success and competition is and do it only if necessary?Also considering SONY's US launch is taking its own time i guess the refresh will be way too soon for the US.

My bet: mwc: z4, z4 ultra, z4 tablet. no new high end device at ces.
insiders don't have info cause its probably too early and sony keep secrets pretty good lately, plus no insiders info is 100% correct, sometimes the info shared is far from reality, but there IS a phablet leak from sonyalpharumors saying a phablet coming "early 2015" that was posted here also. probably at mwc.

I doubt that sony ever intended the compact and tablet compact for less then a year release. only main flag refresh every 6 months is acceptable, but not more then that. |
