No Feli, I feel you absolutely! It's more than time to twice the the memory. 16GB is not more standard for now. Everything is growing... Pics and clips in higher resolution, you need automatic more memory... Even 32GB are too little for flagship devices. When I remember the last 32GB model was the XS, it's a shame! It's over 2 years ago. Hope 32/64GB will be standard very soon... Z3/Z3C should get at least 32GB!

@king-james

First, you (and anyone else) cam call me Felipe, which is my real name

Not only that system itself is getting bigger, apps are also (more and more resolutions to support). ART makes every app bigger, as it pre compiles everything.

I also think that the software needs a lot of work. I'm curious on what Sony will do with Android L and Material Design. They will either ruin it, or make it pretty awesome. Talking about Android L, I'm wondering why they didn't said a single word about it. I mean, something like X, Y and Z devices will get it. A, B and C devices will not. That's good for now.

In the other hand, HTC gave a word on it not even a week after it was announced, and even promised the update for up to 90 days after it is released. That includes the HTC One (M7), last year's flagship, which was released with... Xperia Z (which, coupled with his brothers ZL, ZR and Tablet Z), will probably not see the update.

AFAIK,the Z3 tablet C might have 1920*1200 resolution screen. The battery capacity might be 5000 MA.

Totally agree with the 16GB part...

I believe Sony should have moved to 32GB for flagships in 2013... and by 2015 they should have an option for 32GB and 64GB options.. the problem is Sony never did a multi-size option for there phones...

I don't think this year's flagship ( the Z3, Z3 compact and the Z3 tablet compact ) will have 32GB...

But, if Sony will not have 32GB for Z4 then they're absolutely crazy !! at least as an option... It will be hard for me to have any phone now with 16GB internal... I'll look at the second option for this which will be HTC...

^ Yes, but i'd say sapphire glass should be even in higher priority or in no less priority, say goodbye to none drop scratches like your pocket keys or dust, or whatever scratching the display if you put them in the same pocket by mistake for example, this latest pocketnow video shows a test - How To Scratch a Sapphire Smartphone Screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTpFTifoMks impressive

It may scratch less but it seems a fall will not safe it completely. If the trend next year is to move to sapphire displays, then I sincerely hope Sony follows this trend.

Sapphire glass is interesting for sure, specially that Sony is using a glass and metal designs

sadly the metal is not as hard to scratch compared to sapphire glass.. the next step should be this one: hardening the metal frame.

Before Z2 I was hoping Sony will increase the thickness in order to have larger battery, but Z2 proves that longer battery life can be done with such thin profile and I'm sure Sony can make it better with more optimisation with time..

So the M2 Aqua is IP68 certified so its pretty much a dead cert that we will see this in the Z3 and Z3C given the info a few days back about the phones having a higher IP rating.

I would love to see a Z3c in the same colour scheme as the Sony Ericsson T610i blue.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha looks good in blue.

Looks like we are going to have to learn to love the Snapdragon 805, as Snapdragon 810 and 808 will only be seen in phones in the 2nd half of next year:

Leaked roadmap shows Qualcomm could bring out its 64-bit processors by this year's end
PhoneArena

So I guess we will still be seeing flagships rocking the 801 and 805 at CES and MWC? Wish Texas Instruments were still in the mobile SoC game, it seems as though Qualcomm have stalled a bit.

Are Sony still not going to use the 805 in the Z4? As in that case what will they use?

Just found this case by Baseus for the Z3 it shows the 2 cut outs for the front facing speakers and also doubles up as a media stand.

Either phonearena is wrong or I read the image wrong, but it seems that the 810 (8894) will be coming at the end of the 1st quarter, start of 2nd quarter, so march timeframe. No way would qualcomm release the chip so late, so as in products would arrive in 2nd half of 2015. This would be suicide.

@Tsepz_GP
Nobody knows anything about it. phonearena said their own opinion. nothing is confirmed but actually one could say the opposite because 810 is already being tested, it appears on qualcomm's site for some time now, 805 doesn't have a modem, 801 will be a one year old chip, the roadmap itself shows 810 in first half and nothing in it says "only available to manufacturers", they are already late in competing with other chip manufacturers.

Oh okay, 2nd Quarter makes more sense, I was beginning to think that CES and MWC were going to be rather boring with only the Snapdragon 805.

So I guess at MWC we will see a few S810 phones.
