guess they didn't have room to stick it in there.
it's not too big of a concern for me, but i can understand why others would want it.
i think the sound will be more than sufficient for the majority of consumers.

i'm kinda disappointed that no american retailer has picked up the Z1 yet even as a pre-order or even a news post saying it will start selling it on such date.
global release should include the states! while many european sites have picked it up and listed it, american sites have not. not even sony mobile us has it..

there isn't any real concrete information as to the video recording framerate huh?
I'm thinking that since the camera can do burst mode at 60 frames in 2 seconds at 20mp, then surely it can do 60fps at 1080p.. i haven't been able to find any concrete, official information though

Sony and formerly  or Ericsson never had good sales relationships in the USA! Never! To be honest I would not be surprised if Rogers Wireless, then Bell Mobility (Telus Mobility) after gets official sales announcements before ANY USA provider does.
Either way you have MANY options. Maybe with Z1 and accessories (which I'm so far behind in knowing about - too many damn techie nerd posts which have no understanding of what their comparing about) may change the sales outlook for Sony going forward.

@Supa_Fly.. i'm not talking about providers. i couldn't care less if a carrier picks them up. at this point i highly doubt AT&T will pick it up and Tmobile definitely won't since it has the Z right now.
I just want amazon or newegg to have it available for ordering. amazon preferably 
Even if it does have bad relationships with american retailers, at the very least, it can offer it for sale on its OWN website. But it doesn't even have its own website updated to offer the Z1 for preorder like the other regions have.
