LG is returning to Windows Phone:-
http://pocketnow.com/2013/08/[....]rce=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
"Those FCC docs we just looked for an LG tablet – presumably the G Pad – were a fantastic find, helping to answer some lingering questions about LG’s plans. We thought that might be the most significant story regarding upcoming LG hardware we’d see today, but it looks like we’re only getting started. A new interview’s been published with LG Bulgaria’s Dimitar Vulev, and he goes into some detail about what’s next for the company.
For starters, he mentions an LG tablet like we’ve just been discussing, and explains that LG sees the tablet market as prime for growth, and wants to get back involved, suggesting that this new tablet will go up for sale before the end of the year.
He also talks a little about phablets, and indicates that something big is coming next year – physically larger than either the Optimus Vu or Optimus G Pro.
As for platforms, Vulev indicates that LG is likely to return to Windows Phone, following a WP8 no-show. He additionally mentions efforts to produce a Firefox OS handset, though that may not be in the cards until 2014.
We also get some brief teases, like a quick mention of a smartwatch sometime next year, and one that even might use a flexible display (like we just heard LG was working on).

Dropped by the AT&T store again.. didn't have much time so I just clicked a few.
I really wanted to see the bokeh, zoom, and flash performance again so.. here there are.
The bokeh is pretty much identical... you can get closer to the subject with the 1020 which is a plus. Its also sharper by default, which I think will make it a better close up/macro shooter.

This is maximum zoom, which is the same as full resolution. 1:1 PIXEL ratio. Also, the actual zooming is much smoother on the 808 for some reason..

Thanks again for sharing the pictures !
It's always nice to see a comparison done by someone suitable and consistent !
My impressions:
In all images to mask their obvious inferiority, 1020 Pureview super saturated colors, however saturated colors in has nothing to do with quality !
In the 3 examples shown, 808 Pureview has less noise, more realistic colors and more detail... Especially in the first example !
Not to mention the proven flash 808 Pureview is stronger than the integrated 1020 Pureview !
In summary... 808 Pureview has larger sensor (1/1.2"), more microns per pixel integrated (4.89 Microns), more powerful flash (4 meters), the better post-processing and finally more dpi (300) !!!
For these and other for at least 1 year and a half, 808 Pureview is the best cameraphone on the planet !
Sorry Lumia 1020 Pureview, Galaxy S IV Zoom, Xperia Z1 and Oppo N1 !

The fact is that the 1020 is a good camera phone, not the best because it's the 808 as some say. But the second best or third best i don't know...
Finally, those who want the best camera phone of the world we advise them to buy the 808

808 is running a dead OS though, some reviews I've seen show 1020 can take better pics than 808.
1020 is running a growing OS, 3rd in UK and now 2nd in Latin America and growing fast worldwide.
Think Windows Phone will rapidly rise once 8.1 arrives early next year.
Vine coming to WP8, 6tag is now here, Lots of banks like Lloyd's TSB and Barclay have confirmed that WP8 apps are being made.
Sony let people down yet again with no Xenon in the Honami, Nokia always deliver, Sony have been nothing in the camera phone game for years, always end up disappointing.

I am not quite sure what that means to be honest. Both my Symbian phones are working fine, and I really don't feel like I am missing out on anything.
WP is great, but it isn't perfect.. just like any other OS.

Apparently this is not some isolated problems in certain lots... And so that the integrated lenses to 1020 Pureview are of poor quality, since all the examples have shown the corners distortion ! |

Thanks for sharing cu015170.

Bonovox... I disagree you !
Galaxy S4 Zoom is a good cameraphone, just learn to use it !
But it is not for everyone... Fact !!!

Now you see the "True Quality Pureview" in action !
ISO 1600
LINK: http://www.esato.com/phonepho[....]ureview/201307192200fevr1D.jpg
P.S: Acceptable noise ISO sensitivity as high... Such quality can only be achieved by 1020 Pureview at a maximum sensitivity of ISO 400 !
