I don't see the point of those lenses to attach onto a phone. A camera phone is mean't to be portable not a massive zoom lens like that

Perhaps you don't see the point but other people might. Now that phones are getting slimmer by the pound, this is a solution for camera lovers.

But, its still only one lens. People who tend to carry something that large around with them tend to have a bulky camera to go with it, or several lenses in a bag for all situations.
For example, that particular lens might have a limited aperture, are they going to make several of them with different focal lengths, apertures etc ?

The 1020 will always win regardless. It simply has the hardware the others do not.
Its stupid of some websites to consider Android / iOS phones better than the 1020 when they have such lower quality hardware, smaller optics, no xenon flash, when yeah they might give a better snapshot for quick shots using a mobile phone, but not for proper mobile photography.
