Samsung Galaxy S4 is the fastest selling Android flagship: 4 million in five days

6million and the first month of sales is not even over, it has sold more within a few weeks than some flagships released earlier than it have managed in the 2-3months head start Samsung gave them 
At this rate, it will as one model outsell some company's entire portfolios 
So lets tally it up:
-The most powerful Android to date
-The most functional Android to date
-The most upto date flagship outside the Nexus line
-The fastest and smoothest Android to date
-The fastest selling Android to date
Not too bad Samsung, not too bad, I remember someone saying "Samsung's demise has started" in the Xperia Rumours Thread, this all makes it quite laughable....

Thats fine and your opinion, but what it means for us current owners and future buyers is that we can rest assured that Samsung will have the resources and the incentive to keep updates rolling out to its customers, and that matters.

Bono, if those salesnumbers was achieved by Nokia I am sure your comment would have been different. And buying a Samsung phone does not make you a sheep  we just want the best android offers

That someone also said this would be the best selling galaxy ever, but afterwards it would begin go downhill. 'Afterwards' being the key word.
The s4 is what the 4s was to Apple. It's successor did even better, but even some hardcore fanboys saw past the hype. They'll grow next year, but Sony should compete hype-wise at the end of this year, even the Z beat my expectations in this regard. And the 2h Sony flagship will be to Sony what the s2 was for Samsung.
If the stock android version is true, then it shows that even Samsung know tw is rubbish. |

Would be great to see HTC and/or LG post similar numbers, both have great devices with a lot of potential to challenge the GS4.
Htc seem to be stumbling on bad luck though, if it's not supply issues its IP OR product issues.

But I was told here that we would have no CM10.1 and no dev support .....
International Samsung Galaxy S4 gets CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies
The Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9500) international version – has received an early nightly build of CyanogenMod 10.1.
The version in question is based on pure Android 4.2 but the ROM, being a nightly, will likely have lots of bugs and may not be suitable for a daily driver.
The Snapdragon S4 has already seen some CM 10.1 love (nightly as well).

The phone hasn't even been out for a full month yet we've already got some decent ROMs and kernels for both I9500 and I9505.

Some reports I have read is that the HTC One is selling well now. Not quite GS4 sales but it is currently topping the charts in the US

Samsung Galaxy S4 with stock Android is real: Nexus experience coming on June 26
The Samsung Galaxy S4 'developer edition' is real, folks! Google has just announced the Galaxy S4 with stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and none of that TouchWiz wizardry. Pure Android, just as so many people like it.
The Galaxy S4 with stock Android will land on the Google Play store on June 26th for an off contract price of $649.
The S4 with stock Android will support 4G LTE and you’d be able to use it on the U.S. GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. It will have 16GB of internal storage, come with a fully unlocked bootloader and you won’t need to wait for system updates from carriers. Freedom, a lot of us wished for it, and now we have it!

Why is it only saying T Mobile/AT&T though?? Surely not just for them is it?? Is Samsung trying to steal Nexus customers too as in now EVERYTHING is gonna be Samsung

It says T Mobile and AT&T as it will support both their 4G LTE bands.
Check the text mate, it's Google who are behind this , it means they must've asked Samsung to sell them some GS4s. What Google have done here is rely on a formula that works, The Galaxy S Brand, to sell stock Android and the whole Nexus Experience. Now the Galaxy S4 is both a niche device and a mass market one
