although I don't like the non-removable battery, but if the battery is good enough, I won't need to carry extra batteries then. This seems like a winner, even better, if they can stick to their suggested release date, Feb/March 2013, it would be even better.
Hopefully it'll be available in USA, this will be like the first water/dust resistant smartphone in the US market.
T-mobile USA network. Xperia x10i unlocked + 32GB / Xperia Neo Xperia TX LT29i Xperia Z C6606 Xperia L C2104 Xperia M Dual C2004 Currently using Xperia Z1s C6916 (T-Mobile USA)

Or, go with the Sony solution... 2,000mAh cylinder and 7,000mAh flat battery pack:

I'll give some serious consideration to picking up the 7,000mAh unit simply because it'll be able to charge my phone and Vita full just fine. Great when you're on the road and don't have access to any power outlets.

Good luck waiting for that to become available... I've been checking for the 7,000mAh unit for the past two months, ever since it appeared on the Sony website! I've had the 2,000mAh one for 3 months now, but it's capacity is disappointing - it only charges my XT to about 70%. |

So, Xperia ZQ (ZL for Brazil) has shown on one local shop:
http://www.pontofrio.com.br/T[....]-4G-e-Android-4-1-1865300.html
There is no info on price yet. Reading the specs of it on the site, you notice how Brazil users are quite newbie when it comes to tech. The "mistakes";
Sound: MP3 Player (I mean, how the f**k a Quad Core phone won't have media player?)
Record Video: Yes (same question as above)
SD Slot: Up to 64 Gb (That's good).
Radio FM: No (?)
GPS support: Yes
Messages: MMS, SMS, Email
Ringtones: Vibrate, Poliphonic, MP3
Frequencies: Mentions most Brazillian ones, but not the 4G ones?
I don't get people. Never Have, never will. |

Sony should do something about the gap between announcement and release ASAP. Z would have already sold 5 million or so if it was released in Jan.
Even Blackberry managed an announcement to release day time of just 2-3 days.
Sony, wake up darling !!! |

Z smoked the HTC Butterfly nicely
Looks like HTC M7 will barely come close to Z benchmark scores even with 1.7ghz LOL.
And the camera samples of the butterfly look like a joke compared to Z's shots

Look at the low-light performance... Z broke HTC without breakin a sweat...
@Random... By the way, you were talkin abt Sony being late to the market... As if it wasn't enough, now M7 & Optimus G pro specs have also been announced... Don't know what Sony's gonna do now... |
