Can someone confirm if the Xperia Z/ZL support 64GB microSD? Amazon has a great deal on microSD for only today.

I got a question for you guys.
Recently my digital camera has died and not in working condition anymore so I was thinking do I really need to buy a camera since XZ has a beautiful camera (personally I don't like carrying camera, it's a headache to keep bulky things).
So I was thinking can I skip buying camera and use XZ? Is XZ that capable to replace a normal digital camera?

@Indiandawg
If it goes by the standards of recent Xperia phones (I'm thinking of my TX and Arc) then the results should stand up to a regular compact camera in good conditions. However, with Xperia Z you won't get features like xenon flash and optical zoom but you do get better connectivity solutions and less hassle of carrying an extra device.
Xperia Z won't stand up to a half decent SLR in most situations.
@sighduck yes it is supported but the card may need formatting before first use.

@Ricky D I've never used optical zoom but yes Xenon Flash will be missed. What I want is good macro focus pictures.
I've clicked this through my Arc. This is my style of clicking pictures. Close & Focus. Will XZ be good enough for macro focus pictures. Looking at the camera test videos, it's brilliant. I don't know about the photos.
I mean look at this what DACHA has posted

For me this is outstanding and I'm looking for same focus and clarity for photos.

EDIT:
I just found out the exact style of pictures that I like to click which has been clicked via XZ

I must say XZ has amazing camera, at least for my requirement.

Those who complained use Samsung phones, Galaxy phones kill memory cards somehow
Don't worry at all. It's the fastest 32GB microSD card. |
