Yea and also it comes with Iron man suit in the box. XR005

if that's true, I'll definitely buy one of this monster. lol
The Honami comes with everything except the kitchen sink

P.S will there be any need to use apps such as Juice Defender if the Honami battery life is supposed to allegedly last for Days rather than hours?

if you want to defend juice, you gotta know ants first

It's good that they're putting gigabytes of RAM on an entry level device like this Android gets more and more bloated as new version gets released, even Windows 8 Pro is now less RAM hungry than android

can't wait to see BSOD on Android when google presents latest version?

@HxH: those were officially announced earlier today/yesterday at computex. pretty awesome if you ask me. if i had the money i'd go for a vaio pro 13".. but i'll be splurging on honami, so i think viao pro will have to wait. ha.

@winnerzero: they probably won't make a win8 phone. i think they were considering it but it's not a priority. only nokia does win8 (major brand) and because of their dwindling market share already, there is very little developer support for it. if Sony's goal is to increase market share, they need a product that people will buy and developers will support. That's why, I believe, they will stick to android almost 100%.

From my local, person familiar with industry has now report VAIO Pro and VAIO Duo 13 is coming, worldwide event

Actualy PCWorld posted pics, weight and prices for the Duo 13 and new VAIO Pro (replacement for the Z) 11" an 13" earlier today, but then soon afterwards they mysteriously took them down. I'm willing to guess the info is accurate since they had shots of the machines I'd never seen before, and I think they just jumped the gun and posted it too soon.

According to their info tho, the VAIO Pro 11 + the optional sheet battery will get you about 14 hours, and the VAIO Pro 13 + sheet battery gets you 13 hours. There was no battery life stated for the Duo 13, but that leaked video from a while back claimed 10 hours. How reliable is your info on the Duo 13s battery life? Is that as-is, or with an optional sheet battery?

Yeah, I know. I had a chance to play with a friends Tablet Z and it feels AMAZING! I really do want it, partly because of how cool and more weildly it is than my Tablet S, but also because I want to show off to friends who've smirked when my Tablet S has underperformed when I needed it to do its job. But then I think about the new VAIOs, and the advantages of the new Duo like the larger screen with triluminos, the far larger storage capacity and full sized USB ports and HDMI and whatnot. Plus of course the physical keyboard which can really come in handy.

I'm gonna need to try out the new VAIO before making up my mind. Plus there's always the chance a new tablet will come out to accompany Honami later this year.

EDIT.
HxH, just saw the image you posted. I wonder if that asterix beside longest is meant for the sheet battery or not. I would be MORE than happy with 10 hours, but 15 hours is phenominal!

EDIT 2
Oh shyte, it looks like the dams have burst... tech sites are reporting the VAIOs now!

Damn... Engadgets early review of the Duo 13 has me salivating. It's resolved pretty much all of my issues with the Duo 11 and is VERY tempting, even though it has a price point about 3x that of the Tablet Z.

Gonna have to think looooong and hard about this one.

Heh, I would if I could. See I really like the Tablet Z, but then I feel a lot of what I get out of it will be duplicated by getting Honami. And while it has its faults, I do still have my Tablet S which can pretty much do whatever the Z can do, just that it's clunky and ugly

The Duo 13 though, that's a completely different beast. It's got the much larger screen, triluminos tech for OLED-level colours, Engadget has so far tested over 11 hours battery life - and that's WITHOUT the optional sheet battery. It's got the stylus which I love the idea of, far larger base storage with the option for larger capacities, full size SD card, full size USB and HDMI ports and the keyboard. It's also got an Exmor RS camera, and from the 1 pic I saw so far, it seems superior to the shooter in the Tab Z. Yeah it's 3x thicker and nearly 3x as heavy, but... DAMN it's a beautiful device.

I'm likely not going to jump on it right away and wait for reviews of final production models plus a chance to test it myself in stores, but Duo 13 + sheet battery is something I'm salivating over Sony's gonna make me go broke this year So far for this year alone I've already invested in the RX100 camera, the 50" R550A Bravia, the SRSBTX500 bluetooth speaker. *sigh* It's bittersweet being a Sony nut
