SLCD is actually majorly developed by Sony Mobile Displays. HTC One X and other devices with SLCD screens have Sony manufactured screens.

Sony did develop s-lcd, but sold it to Samsung this year. Slcd3 is developed by Samsung.

Its not really favoritism played by qualcomm. Its just business. Stock is limited, so those who pay more and order larger contracts will win it from qualcomm. Its not just htc which has s4 pro, asus, lg, sharp, xiaomi and many other manufacturers have it already.

Nope. You are confusing SLCD screens with S-LCD corporation that was a joint venture between Sony and Samsung.  |

I've changed the timing for the Esato TV.. every slide now has it's own timings.. I calculated the time as I was reading so it should be fine for most readers...
