Well sorry, but I just don't want to get people's hopes up. Phones like the Z1f are just like the Xperia SX and, if you ask me, unlikely to see a global release. Furthermore I am as sure as an outsider can be that there is nothing like the Z1f planned for a global/European release in 2013. |

I'd hardly call 4.3" small but anyway  If it gets released it'll be for the Japanese market only, much like the SX. I'm pretty sure there is no global (or at least European) release planned.

Seriously don't act like you know if you actually don't know.
I know some things. Not everything of course. But from what I've heard and learned over the last years I can safely say that there is no smaller high-end phone planned for a global/European release or announcement in 2013 anymore. What happens from next year onwards or in Japan are things I don't know anything about.

if i make the scope smaller, no way means not possible within this year or next year(if not smaller, then there is no possible way a smaller Z1 exist). funnily enough, now you come out with "what you learn over the year" with "not in 2013", "not for global/european" ... 4.3 inch is not mini enough in a short space of time.
The fun thing is, everyone else in a "aware" and "wait and see if it is fake rumors", but you keep changing your "pretty sure", "trust me" info one after another. hey man even xperiablog said it probably fake. you either stick with your pretty sure, trust me argument than keep changing it one after another. |

I just really hope Ambroos is wrong regarding Japan only release! Sony would be pretty asinine to not realise that there is a huge market for a phone like this globally!
And the sooner Sony release the phone the better! |

There's nothing wrong to get the info about future devices wrong. They are rumors and insiders has differeny sources. Still Xperia Z1 is not fully confirmed as it is yet to be announced. |

Oh hell yes I want some of that Xperia Z1 f!!! Like the white but also like the yellow, cannot wait to get it. Just measured the size of it next to my iPhone 5 and it's only a tiny bit bigger, incredibly impressive and in my mind blows the iPhone out the water!
And yes the phone WILL be released in Europe, or do people think Sony don't want to make money? Compete against Samsung and HTC? I would predict it will be out before the end of the year due to all the leaks coming out about it especially brochures with it's specs. |

I have heard the same about two weeks ago and now my source is telling me that he had a hands on with the Z1 mini and his source told him that it will use a IPS-IGZO type screen as the iPhone 5S.

I didn't know that Iphone 5s uses IGZO display. I thought it uses the same display as Iphone 5 |

I think he wanted to say that the display quality will match the iPhone 5s display. My source is also saying that there will be a panel lottery for Z1f but the difference will be hardly noticeable. |
