Check out the 5" 1080p panel by JDI. At 2:07, it shows the PixelEyes technology of this panel. Could this be what the Digital Touch for Yuga is referring to?

Not really as both Yuga and Odin have the same display panel.

Either way, that is definitely the 5" panel that has the Pixel Eyes technology. I'm not sure if it's a different 5" panel from the WhiteMagic one, but as far as I know they only showcased 3 panels (5", 7", and the car panel)

So apparently both the smartphone and tablet panels by JDI have WhiteMagic, PixelEyes, and the IPS-Neo technology. My guess is that the Touch Pen is an optional feature of the Yuga (and won't be available to the Odin). But with the things randomuser has said recently (2000:1 contrast ratio) and the fact that JDi is cramming all these awesome tech into their panels, the JDI screens will definitely beat the other 1080p 5" panels next year.

Yes, if the Odin/Yuga is using those panels shown by JDI in October they will have those features and specs. Those technologies will set the Odin/Yuga screens apart from the other 1080p panels like the HTC Droid DNA which is also by JDI.

Well JDI sad on the presantation that they will mass produce these displays in 2013. If Odin/Yuga will have one of those beauties that will mean later release, but with the CES announcement I`m also doubting they will use it... and I`m kinda used to be dissapointed because of raised expectations about /Sony products so I prefer to keep mine as low as possible for some time now.

JDI has announced two 5" 1080p panels:

http://www.j-display.com/english/news/2012/20121004.html - Started production in October for the HTC Droid DNA and Butterfly J.

http://www.j-display.com/english/news/2012/20121018.html - Includes Sony's WhiteMagic technology, as well as integrated touch PixelEyes tech, the IPS-Neo tech, and has a 2000:1 contrast ratio compared to 1000:1 ratio of the HTC Droid DNA panel. It also has a RGBW structure which means its subpixel density is even way higher than the Droid DNA.

I can see JDI beginning production in January 2013 in time for the Yuga's rumored release in February/March, just like how the Droid DNA panel went into production in October and released in November.

Does anyone know how serious Sony is with their tablet lineup? I really like the designs of both Tablet S and Xperia Tablet S, but I think they can do more with the specs. Hopefully Sony can release some powerful tablets in 2013.

What you must keep in mind is that whitemagic panel is developed entirely by Sony Display Corporation and not rest of JDI, so Sony can use that screen before the "commercial production begins for customers". So it's not impossible for Yuga to have a whitemagic display, but don't be too optimistic. There has been no official proof yet to suggest that Yuga has Whitemagic panel.
