Cant understand why everyone is so excited about this? It will be just like carrying an extra camera with you all the time except the camera has no screen

It looks smaller than a compact camera and hence is more convenient to carry around. Also, you can buy a cheap phone and still have a good camera with you when needed. Definitely a cool device if priced right.

I hope Sony will do the pricing right this time, just like the PS4
They need to price these 2 lenses lower than the RX100 (much lower) otherwise it might not work

But if they price them too low, they might cannibalize the RX100 Camera as well

Sony wants 199 € for the Smartwatch 2 and you wish for these things to cost the same?

I stay away for less than 10 hours and THAT leaks? Oh...

Those lens are freaking awesome, and expensive too... Why can't I win in the lottery? (Because i never play, duh)... Anyone wants to give me one?

September 4th will be in a Wednesday, the day that I stay in school from 7 am to 6 pm, GMT -3. That means most things happen while I am at school, so... 3G refreshing Esato the whole day

About 20 - 30% difference to the related cameras, so about 500 € for the QX100. These things are semi-pro tools and might get priced accordingly.

Plus it's from Sony.

I bought my Sony Xperia SP as kind of a stop gap, hoping my network carrier would start offering the ZR.

They don't seem to be doing that. I really wanted the Z Ultra... But Honami looks like it will be my next phone.

I don't mind admitting I'm a Sony 'fanboy', I just hope all of this goes well and Sony can become a much bigger player in the phone industry as they have in nearly all of the other fields they're involved in. Exciting times

I don't often have to but I do admit when I'm wrong.

I doubted randomuser when he insisted on attachable lenses, but it looks like he was right on this one and I offer my apologies.

Of course, assuming the leaks don't turn out to be faked and the device makes truly exists.

One of the pics shows the words "optical Steady shot" on the barrel. Which I suppose is optical image stabilisation.

I also see the clamp on fixture fits honami and Z. Not sure why they'd make a case adapter AND a universal clamp adapter too. Surely the clamp adapter is all that's necessary?

Lastly, is this what maia saw? A Z/Homami with the lens accessory?
