@razec: thanks. could you ask him for possible release dates and prices in US? Sony NEEDS to release this in Sony online store in US BEFORE Oct 1st.

In my opinion, the only thing that tablet Z needs is a more up to date CPU, as in the S600 or S800.

A larger battery would be nice, 7000-8000mAh, the screen can remain as is, I don't need super duper ultra HD. Also more accessories. I know the device is water resistant and so on, but a keyboard dock or a keyboard cover would be nice, it is the one aspect I miss from the previous Sony tablet.

^^Sony hinted 4.1 devices jumping to 4.3, but don't expect this early. Enjoy 4.1 for the meantime.

@stedus It does look thinner.

@stedus

i think it's a visual illusion. the Z is white and Honami is black, black is slimming second, the phones are not aligned on the same horizontal axis to give accurate perspective. since the difference, if any, is minimal, this small bit may have an effect as to how you perceive the thickness.

of course, i dunno for sure. but based on the power button alone, they look about the same to me.

Thats why i used the word "look"
I think the slanted edge also makes it looks slimmer

It wasn't specified how thin and light it would be, I'll try asking him about the dimensions, he told me there will be more infos to come regarding this in the next few days so we'll just have to wait for that.

@Felimenta97: Yes IFA as he told me

This sounds very good....looking forward to some more rumors regarding the tablet z successor. Lol its crazy to think that it will be even slimmer and lighter than the current Tablet Z!!!??? I was actually considering getting a Tablet Z but think I can wait till IFA and see what is unveiled before making my final decision....I think one of the few minor flaws of the current tablet Z is the processor....with s800 it will be almost perfect

But I do find it odd that a Tablet Z successor is already being planned to be unveiled in about a months time when the current tablet Z isn't even 6 months old??
