@DACHA
Sounds awful. All that hard work and time designing and marketing good tech ruined by lazy, inattentive sales assistants. Ridiculous!

DACHA, I've been to the one in Vegas and yeah it was relatively dead. I wasn't there to buy anything, but at least the sales people were attentive and willing to help at that time. I can say that whenever I go to a Sony Store up here in the Toronto area, it's never been a negative expeience.
If you were willing to, I'd say you could find a way to contact the next level of manager above whoever was in the store and let them know. At some point, someone with enough power would be able to enact some changes. |

...the employees were chatting instead of assisting customers. The store manager was in the middle of it...
Isn't this called a staff meeting? Jokes obv.
Nice lot of goodies there. I wish I could be attracted to the Xperia Tablet S, but I'm dipping out to the Nexus 10 simply because it is better value (better specced and cheaper). Also, the original Tablet S didn't impress me with quality, I know a man and his father are different but Apples never fall far from the tree.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

I had the original Sony Tablet S and the Xperia Tablet S is much better in my opinion. That is the main reason I upgraded.
I do not need a tablet with 2560 x 1600 pixels display. |

Finally IDC mobile tracker report an update, Sony recognized as No.3 mobile manufacturer
I hope this Q4 won't drop too much, I heard TX supply is shortage in Asia and will be late arrival in my local as Q1 2013.

She said Sony is trying to grow in the high-end smartphone market by working closely with the company’s movie business, among others, to promote new handsets.
“The smartphone market is increasingly bifurcating into premium (above $450) and low-end (below $200),” Sanford Bernstein analyst Mark Newman wrote in a report this week. “All the industry profits go to the premium segment and most of the growth is in the low-end, with the mid-end unprofitable and relatively shrinking.”

Very interesting to see Sony starts focusing on High-end phones rather than those mid-range ) |

I think Sony is giving T more priority over TX for several reasons specially that T is the real flag ship for them, this made TX in a shortage as they both share the same parts and most parts goes to T already...
in Middle East, we will have it in December/January time-frame...

"Odin is being tested with 2400-2800mAh batteries and it should come with the new Auto HDR Exmor RS BSI sensor so it should have significantly improved lowlight performance. The only question mark is their JPEG performance but there are good signs that they are making big improvements in that area, I just hope they roll out the improvements to all of their products"...
zomgbbqftw gave this info a couple of days ago on neogaf... Will yuga also have these things...???

It is worth remembering that being first isn't always the best thing. For example we have the DNA that has a wonderful 5" screen, but has a crap battery life and no expandable storage. If I had to choose between that or a company like Sony who will release a product a bit later, but have proper specs and features, then I'll go with Sony instead.
I hate to point this out, but HTC droid dna with 5" 1080p manages to get much better battery life than xperia T. Endurance rating of 49hr vs 36hr of xT by gsmarena. Not even acro S with 1910mah battery and 4.3" screen manages to beat it. So if you find dna's batt life as crap, what do you find about T and rest of xperias?
I really hope we get some good leaks regarding odin. I am growing a bit impatient.
