The price is too high, but considering the amount of R&D that went into the project, i still don't know if they are actually making solid profits per unit.. they must be.
Overall, i never felt like I overpaid for the phone, since its such a good fit for my lifestyle, it pays for itself everyday.. |

In Amazon UK still goes for £439...
In Ebay you can get it for as much as £350 but is shipped from Asia (Singapore & Hong Kong) and these doesn't have local warranty in the EU so I don't recommend anyone getting those.

We've paid 405 euros (incl. del.) for our new white 808, original NL, from a well-known dutch online retailer which has high street shops too and they were celebrating the opening of their fourth shop with very attractive prices for only four days, so we've been lucky 
It's now 549 euros again.

How lucky you were. We don't even have the 808 here. Just some new Lumias like the 610, 900 and other don't remember right now.

as a smartphone has specs like no other: fm transmitter, pentaband 3G/Hsdpa, microSD slot, USB OTG, HDMI out... there are just a few others, not many, which such specs.

Prices in India are sub USD 460 now. I wonder why.
I'm expecting mine tomorrow.
Just for the info for anybody who has friends who will be returning from Christmas vacations in India... and needs an 808 cheap
