I wish I could know that too. Btw, it looks like no ones got hold of xperia T for reviewing, besides mobile review and its releasing only after 3 days in uk!

My Xperia Arc contract will end this month ( September ) so I'm okay regarding reaching us in ME even late September or early October but I hope it reaches other area sooner so I can see if there's any problem with it before I take it

Wonder how long it will take to root it

I would love some clarification on this as well!

All we know right now are rumors, as far as availability in the States...

Have they announced a released date yet? Look at the specs, seems this phone is HSPA+ capable. so not only US T-MOBILE 3G capable, but maybe even 4G, I hope someone can clarify on that. would be awesome if it would. I was thinking of getting the Water resistant Acro S, but if this phones is what I thought it would, I'm getting this one.

Hope it's release soon cuz I'm currently in the market for a new phone.

btw, just learn that while the Xperia T have a non-replaceable battery, Xperia TX will, with a 1750mAh battery.

if both have the same 1700/2100 bands, I'm leaning towards the TX, cuz I just use my phone way lot and only charges at night, so I would love to exchange batterys while on the go alot.

@Big_D

How do you know both T and TX will get 1700/2100 (or US Tmobile freq)? I think the specs are not official yet? GSMArena listed them both as 1700/2100 but GSMAren tends to list all possible frequencies for unreleased phones.

I am on US Tmobile and would love to get a new Sony phone soon. We can always hope. In the worst case, US Tmobile is refarming 1900 freq for 3G data. Just don't know how long that will take.

Even Xperia Blog lists the same frequencies and it is also listed in the White Paper.
It will support T-Mobile bands.

Are you guys certain this will work on Tmobile's 3G? I know they have the compatible bands on the phone (1700/2100, and eventually 1900), I just don't want to get stuck with a $600 phone (estimate) that I can't use 3G on because I'm stuck in a 2 year contract with Tmobile.

Also will this work on 4G for Tmobile?

Where? USA? Global? Europe? Asia? South America?

even if this doesn't release in America or does it late, I wonder if there's any big difference. I would by a non-USA version and use it in America. will there be any problems. mainly MMS settings on T-Mobile USA. I always had problems with this, but eventually found a working settings. I wonder if I would run into that problem?

does anybody know if the extra features the XV has over the XT can be ported to the XT? seems like those features are all software based anyway..

Okay I'm a little bit confused to choose between T & TX ( incase both will be available in my country, thought I guess only T might be available )

T is the high-end, where all Sony's spot light will be, guess that also support will be better for it but.. I like the look and feel of TX more, specially the removable battery; Hope some makers will make extended batteries for it.. having an embedded battery might stop makers from doing this unless it was very popular ( like iPhone's battery cover ) and it will be very hard coz of the nature of the curved design and the location of the microUSB port...

for those who didn't notice, from pictures T & TX might look very similar but they are different, TX is exactly same as the Japaniese Xperia GX... but Xperia T is in it's own design...

from hardware perspective both are exactly the same, same SoC, same RAM, storage, microSD, screen, camera, ports, NFC, microSIM...

T is heaver, a little bit shorter, but also not as thin as TX which is a little bit thinner, taller and lighter...

from the look and feel, TX ( which is just like GX ) is more attractive to me... but T has all the spot light... I don't care about spot light as much as I care about support... look at Xperia arc and Neo... both has the exactly same spec. but different look and Xperia arc got more spot light and support... if not from Sony them self.. then from the developers community...

If I can guarantee the support from both Sony and the developers community for Xperia TX, and if TX will be available in my country.. then I'll sure go for TX

BTW, I saw a pic of Xperia J notification LED and I liked it, then I asked my self where's the notification LED in Xperia T ? I tried to look for it but no success... I tried to look also for Xperia TX but also no success but as TX is same as GX I think both will have that LED in the front side of the phone on the bottom Xperia logo

Actually not. They are both software based. Also unknown13x is saying all 3 - T/TX/V have the HDR function. Let's wait and watch.
