Judging from the photos I've seen, and samples provided by GSMArena, it's neither. Camera quality is worse than Xperia S :<
A quick sample:
This shit again, the camera is excellent from the Xperia T.

First bla bla about the bad screen and than this shit again and now again.
Stop it already please with this nonsense comparing.

Haha its ok , i guess some people are just making sure and want assurance before forking out money to buy the T/TX. I asked around alot for first hand experiences despite seeing reviews already before i bought mine 2months back. We are all here to share experiences especially as owners of the actual phones . It's always a good feeling to be assured before you leap into buying |

I sense reality distortion field here. The camera IS poor. It's not the worst, if You're going to watch photos scaled to 1-2MP it's gonna look very nice, but if we are talking about real quality, this doesn't matter, all that matters is performance against competition at full resolution. You see if You're gonna act like nothing has happened, Sony will continue it's crap camera spree, because customers find it to have good quality anyway. It's what happened with iPhone, no matter what crap Apple does, people will still buy it... And Sony likes Apple tactics a little too much.

Once again, it's not bad, but it's just not the flagship material. |

Hmm...the T and TX can't be compared with 808 Pureview and the likes, but i own the TX and i really have to say the pictures i took with it so far look ALOT better than those comparison photos. Maybe those sample pics are from prototypes given to phone reviewers but the final version i have sure is alot better. I posted a couple of pics a page back, and they look better than these sample pics... |

As a matter of fact there is no phone that can compare with 808 PureView, but there were phones like Samsung Galaxy S III, iPhone 5(with Sony sensor...), HTC One X. Which should have fall behind Xperia T, but they didn't. You posted close-up photos, it's a field where practically every phone with autofocus does quite well. (although I must say, the color reproduction of Xperia T is very good).
Maybe You can post some landscape photos? I would love to see some good landscapes taken with Xperia T/TX. |

LAME!
I called GSM Nation today and they won't have it in stock for another 2-3 weeks. I also confirmed the price with them and they and told me $450.
I got home and to my surprise...they raised the price to $565.
Guys, where is the cheapest place to get this phone right now?!?! |

Hi, to all XT/TX users:
Have you tested the USB OTG functionality with a usb flash drive?... Im curious since my Xperia Arc cant mount/read them and it would come in handy if one could just copy file between a phone and a usb flash drive.

@Lightspeed_x,
I don't have T/TX but I think all new phones are able to mount usb flash as even Xperia S can do it...
BTW, If you root your arc you can mount USB flashes... I'm doing it already

@Xajel: Thanks for the reply!, I have root access, but dont know of a file manager app that lets me see the contents of a USB flash drive. How are you doing it ?

There is a file that needs to be added to the system folders to enable usb otg storage on arc.
Not tested it yet on TX. I'll post back later with the file and TX results.
Later..
RESULT: On TX it works perfectly without the need to install the storage modules.
ON ARC (root required): Use this guide to install the usb-otg storage modules then use the USB-OTG helper app to mount the drive.
In both cases I used Root Exporer to find /usbdisk and access the usb drive.

@lightspeed_x & @Ricky D
Well Ricky D already explained the how to...
2011 phones while they support USB-OTG, SE didn't put the usb-mass storage / flash support module on the phone so the OTG support only support mice, keyboards and some joysticks...
You can have this solution, or if you want easier and it's okay for you to pay a little for and app, then use
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wired.usbotg
you only need root and busybox and this app to make it work and the app will help you mount/unmount the flash when you want...
Personally I use it as I bought it before the free solution on xda-developers came...
Basically, these apps will help you mount/unmount the usb-flash, and when when the flash is mounted you can use any file manager to access it, I tested almost most famous apps like root explorer, ES file explorer and even beta and other apps.. all can read it as these apps will mount the flash as a folder on your sdcard...
