I have no idea about the headset I'm afraid. I do know it isn't listed on the Sony Mobile China website, there may be a reason for that..

If I get a chance I'll try and have a test on one in the Chinese markets.

Thanks! I decided to order one anyway as the discount was very good!

Someone over at XDA Developers has said it does display Japanese but needs a patch! I would be surprised if it did need a patch... but wait and see!

Hi!

is there a way to change the settings in SMS? I don't like the brown speech bubble and the white bubble for my reply.

I know I can download Handcent or some other app.. but can I change them in my Xperia T?

Thanks!

edit... I am getting a feeling that it is theme related ! I'll check that now..

Hi ofiaich, AFAIK those bubbles change only when you change the theme.

Hi Lightspeed_x,

Tried 5 themes and no change to the bubbles colours!

Tried both the stock launcher and Go Launcher Ex!

@Ofiaich

Try changing the system theme then rebooting the handset or force stopping the app in the settings. It is possible that the messaging app needs restarting for the theme to to take effect, really you're theme changer should do anything like that for you but maybe it's a bug.

Also are you changing the theme in settings>display>theme ? I just tried it on my TX and the theme changes the messaging colours without any sort of restarting of anything necessary.

Does the Xperia T (LT30) have a reset button or needle point where you hold for 5-10 second to reset? Since there is no removable battery, if the phone freezes, how do you reset it if you can't remove the battery or press "reset."

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the T I've already had to pull the battery on my TX after I got a bootloop from a bad system file. I would guess on the T there is a specific button combination e.g. Hold power + volume up for 15 seconds to cut the battery and drain the capacitors.

Do you mean kernel version/build number?

In the Phone app dial *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu, then under 'Service info' > 'Software info' read the 'Customization version'.

On my Chinese TX this reads "1266-7707_RF0F".

Better still if you can PM/send me a copy of your build.prop from the system folder, if not don't worry, I'll wait and grab one from xda when it's available

In Xperia S, which also have non-removable battery, you can press and hold power+volume_up for several seconds and it will force restart...

I think it will work on T as it also works on Ion...
