Wasnt Germany the only european country that gets the TX? But what do you all prefer about the Tx, I for one think the T design is way classier....

Hi!

Is anyone using the Sony Smart Wireless Headset pro display? I posted

here with this question..

I was wondering if it only displays information in Alphabet?

I would like to see information in text messages, music etc in Japanese.

If anyone has one, and will let me send them a test text message, please pm me your number!

edit - solved now.... see here for information

Thanks!

Thank you all faithfully for your feedback especially my dear Ricky

Maybe you are wondering about my storage concern, guys..

I have Xperia Ray the Phone storage is 420 MB and when the free memory is less than 50 MB I can't update or install new application

1.7 GB or 2GB I feel it is not enough for what I want
because the common application are using phone storage and can't be moved to internal storage or a partially moved

and the size you mentioned is only 5 times the space I have that is why I wanted to shift for SGS3

But honestly ??? I feel I want to get Note2 ! Man that stylus does great things

But time will tell , I'm still waiting for James Bond Skyfall movie and Xperia T too

Thanks again Ricky for your explanation man

I'm going to take a guess that the info you're interested in is the total of the used and free 'phone memory' displayed in the bar at the bottom?

Well, on my TX I have 819MB used 1.2GB free in the downloaded tab. That's after I've been through the system with titanium backup removing crap apps so there is some variance from stock configuration but probably quite small.

Can I use titanium backup on any Android smartphone to permanently remove carrier preloaded apps/icons in the OS ?

Hi Hardened!

I think you can use the Pro version on a rooted phone to do that..

I think this XDA thread tells more about it.

Ofiaich, many thanks.
How are you liking your "T"?

Hi Hardened!

I like my Xperia T very much. Faster than the Xperia S. I used the browser on both, and the T loaded new sites quicker than the S!

Might by a 64gb card for it.

I have the Xperia Tablet S too! I like that a lot except for the reboot problem. Sony don't seem to have a clue about that yet

I also want to buy the Sony Smart Wireless Headset pro because there is a 40% discount voucher with the 'T' !
I need to know if it will display Japanese!

Ofiaich,

I think you'll need to contact Sony directly about the display capabilities of the headset; sweet discount though. Personally I'd go for the SmartWatch and use any headset for quality sound.

Speaking of headsets, I noticed the T/TX/S and others ship with a 1 button headset ... is this now a smart action button by default? If I get the TX/T/TL how would I raise the volume walking or running in the late fall/winter with my jacket on covering my pants/jeans pockets??

Hey! Hope you're well! Congrats on getting a T, but do you know for sure that it supports the SDXC standard and not just the SDHC standard? Previous generations of phones (thinking about my Arc) only supported the SDHC standard which has a maximum of 32GB, it's the SDXC which supports 64GB up to 2TB.

@Hardened
Root is the key, you could use a good root file explorer if you don't want to buy Titanium.

@bambarah
No probs man! Make sure you have a good think before buying anything. Note 2 is a seriously good handset, but the screen was a little on the big side for my very average sized hands.
I have a dig bick
You read that wrong

I have 600MB free in the system. This isn't a perfect representation as I have added Google apps (the mainland China version doesn't even have Google accounts in the system) into the system and removed a bit of bloatware.

Thanks Ricky, I think the sizes are pretty nice, on my arc I know it's low and some apps I use must be installed on the internal... even with Titanium they just misbehave ( like Facebook there will be no notifications when moved to the SD, And when restarting I'll have to re login in both Facebook and Twitter )... Yesterday I decided to give link2SD a shot and it worked very nicely, I managed to free 50MB+ on system and 40MB on internal and everything working normally like if all the linked apps are in the internal

I think with my usage I'll have several hundreds of free MB for both internal and system, just like you...

As long as I know on all flagship phones the memory dedicated for apps is about 2G, even on S3 or Note 2.. correct me if I'm wrong, though
BTW I've had my Sony S since March, and still it has 750Mb of free memory for apps (with about 30 big games like Max Payne, Dead Space, Mass Effect... and loads of apps which keep updating from time to time ), so I don't think you will be missing space for installing things I remember how I was managing the tiny memory of my Arc S, but now I just install whatever I want
@Ofiaich
I've ordered an Xperia Tablet S as well, it will come in about 2 weeks from Germany to Moscow.. can't wait so you still have the rebooting problem? have you tried a hard reset and reinstalling firmware? I do hope there won't be such troubles with mine, though..

Thanks! I will think about that! I'll check out the price! I might also get a 64 GB card for my Xperia Tablet S!

Keep well!
