I think Sony have their billing wrong for T, TX and V. They need to be in reverse order. V the flagship 4", TX the flagship 4.6" and T the mongrel, regional variant. It's a shame the Xperia T logo doesn't light up. I really feel T has had a bum deal with the design and parts.

@Bonovox
I've installed an app called Illumination Bar Notification and I'm testing it now. It pointed me to a setting I didn't know as there that allows me to turn on/off "Illumination bar notification" then the app lets you set up how the bar lights up. It may be that this is a relic setting from the NXT series FWs and shouldn't be on the TX or it may be that the setting should be called XPERIA illumination notification and actually works. Either way I'm testing now. Report back in a few mins.

Tested and.. yeah, it doesn't work. Maybe there'll be something that does work soon though.

Just received the xperia T.

Colors compared to the Ion which I have too, look I'd say more natural, moins saturated... but the blacks ar kind of greyish (the theme "silk" is grey!)

Well I will post some pictures comparing it to the ION, XPERIA S, ARC S tonight.

Got it from France and it's full of Orange crap applications, even their logo at startup...

Cheers

As promised here are some photos I just took comparing the S, ION, and T.
Ion has the most saturated colours, T tends to be more comparable to the S, but blacks are less black...
I will compare with my wife's iphone tomorrow.

Besides this color thing, the phone is handlier than the ION, very quick, I like it.

It seems I can't find the TX anywhere online to buy and shipped to USA. although I did find Xperia T. guess I just get the T instead, but I hope someone can send me a link. T have a non-removable battery, correct?
And where can I buy accessories, tv dock, etc?

btw, is there a built-in app to use the back LED as a flashlight, or do you have to download from Google Play?

Aside from ION having way too saturated colours, Xperia T has pale colors even comparing to XS. Judging those images, XS has best colours.

cheers,
Miki

Xperia T just looks more real of all three!
Look at the hand of a man on the market, only on XT it's not RED.
The just look at the homescreen photo, in this regard all of them are similar and XT doesn't look pale at all.
ION is oversaturated I'm afraid..
