The shots look nice and crisp when viewed as they are, but with 100% crops they're some way short of N8 / 808 standards. As are all Android phones sadly.

Heres hoping the SIV has a higher megapixel count and xenon flash.

SIV will defiantly have a 12/13 mpx camera - whether it is much better is another thing. Xperia S had a 12mpx camera but it just made the photos larger, not much better than Arc.

I still think SGS3 has one of the best Android cameras and that's down to post processing. Colours are nice and natural, sharpness is bang on and lots of clear focus (unlike Nexus 4).

@ rikken - also is that first photo HDR on?

S3 takes such nice photos in the right conditions. Still best camera in a phone out imo (apart from 808).

Tx What you see is a suburb to the city Ă…lesund, you can spot the city center in the distance, to the right in the picture
