Does xmppservice constanly run on your phone and do you know how to turn it off? It keeps my network connection constantly on and use too much network traffic. I have no background running apps.

Emporium:
Do you have the Nokia Chat or the LightBulb app installed? (both use xmpp services in the background)

Even when you dont set them up, they still have that service you mention in the background. I had it when I installed the LightBulb app from AppList (link: http://applist.schumi1331.de/content/116 )

It was Viber, i was uninstalling apps one by one until connection disappeared. But I need Viber, and always exit on "exit" via menu, seems it cannot be turned off totally. Stupid.

I'm planning to get a parrot AR Drone 2.0 next week, and get a little mount for the 808 to take videos and pictures.

Brilliant!

Just keep in mind the short flight time.. otherwise you can get some very cool shots with that kind of set up!

Maps were awesome, I was using them all times. One funny thing is that during the flight, I used the GPS Data app to check the position and the speed, was like 500 mph.

The 808 behaved way better than my Blackberry Z30 except for social media apps. The battery life was excellent, never let me down.

They keep shutting down services.. first it was Nokia Weather, now Nokia Radio, which was one of the most powerful radio apps out there.

The alternative is not as good as it skips when you try to multitask .. it not as well optimized
