Hi everyone!

I bought one of these JBL OnBeat today and cannot get the sound to come through the speakers.

The manual is next to useless!

JBL OnBeat

I have tried both an iPad and an iPod. Mde sure the iPad and iPod are not muted, and the volume was set to high.

I could even control the volume on the iPad and iPod screens using the remote, and the + and - volume buttons but no sound.

Using a line in and taking the iPad or Ipod off of the dock gives sound and lifting the iPad or iPod off, whilst it should be playing also gives sounds through the iPad or iPod speakers!

Any advice welcomed! I guess the JBL OnBeat is going back tomorrow...
