has any one here ever heard of a phone that changes its imei every time you use it ?

i have seen one he showed me his imei with star hash 06star hash on or sumfin like tha a samsung slide up then he made a phone call showed me again and it was diffrent sed it cost him 2500gbp just though some one here would know maybe he was an FBI agent hahahaha |

Ha ha. Now I'm trying to work out why I'd want to hide my imei no from people. I would have to be getting up to some serious espionage / no good / mischief.
