I need to get a sim so use in America, just to make phone calls, text and if possible it would be great to have an internet connection just for facebook or twitter or something. I need it to be prepaid, and preferrably unlimited credit availible. Would be better off to buy one over there or is getting one over here easy?
Thankyou!

It depends. From my experience TMobile is a great pre-paid service and I also had MetroPCS but that is without a Sim and you just buy a phone from them and get the first month free.

TMobile is the least expensive SIM card service in the US.

And what phone do you have? Is it 3G capable? You'd need to consider this before chosing a carrier.
