It goes for about 427 in Switzerland.

Found an interesting test of the Xperia S and other phones. Looks very positive for XS.

Especially interesting is how it beats Sensation XE, which I think uses the same CPU and GPU (on the same clock speeds). Seeing how powerful can it be, makes not having a Snapdragon Krait more bearable. Let's hope they do sth with the battery as well. With CM9 and clean ICS on board, it will be a killer machine.

Battery life is a bit bad at the moment, in 12 hours, I've lost 50 per cent of battery with minimal use.

I have screen on auto brightness but it seems to be draining the battery a lot.

Do you have a yellow tint on your display, more noticeable on a white background?

No, not that I can see.

Loving the phone, just need to get this battery sorted, but I assume that may be first first firmware fixed.

Seems these HD720P displays are absolute power hogs, they need atleast a 2000mAh battery, many GALAXY Nexus users are also complaining of poor battery life.

Just drain the Battery empty until the phone get off, and than plug the charger 6 hours on than drain the Battery empty until the phone get off, than again charge for another 6 hours and than you will see improvement, this helped me very much and also many other Xperia S owners

Take care, i hope it will come oke with your battery

Nope it didn't help here a bit.
The batt on idle and flight mode behaves very good but when you work with it it's not good.
I wait for SW optimization.

Did try it after or before that the idle behaves very good, thats what also what my happens.

I really feel very sad for you that didn't helped that way, you have sure a faulty Battery, in my case and many other really helped that way.

If you buy a new phone, always drain the battery until the phone go off and than a full charge for at least 6 hours and than one more repeat that. Because it's good for the battery stamina

NO mate.

First - modern batteries don't need any extra calibration.

Secondly stop repeating this sentence.
My battery is fine, it's a bug in a software causing batt drain
reported in many reviews and by very many users on xda and forums.
That is why on idle and flight mode there is almost no drain
and any activity regarding data and screen kills the power.

I just hope they will release fix for this
as well as fix for email app.
