Hello all & welcome to my theme for January 2012!! Thank you for voting for my first win last month. I wanted to take this opportunity upon winning to do a theme which is one of my faves in photography NIGHT LANDSCAPE!! A few examples below but I guess you already know what it is. Take a photo of a beautiful building lit up at night,a moonlit lake or sea anything!! Just enjoy the view & the take your time & remember hold steady!!

RULES
1: Pictures must be taken with a mobile phone by that member.
2: Only 1 photo with allowance for only 1 change.
3: No archive photos & photos must be taken in January.
4: Post full size photo here http://www.esato.com/phonephotos/ & post a link to that photo
5: Picture post processing not allowed

Enjoy & get snapping!!!!!!!! Hope you like the theme anyway.

Thanks. I love this type of theme. Just remember a stable surface to put your phone on.

Nice theme!

Another tip: use the self-timer, if available! Many people move the phone slightly when clicking the shutter button.

edit: As the December-thread is closed: congrats on the win!

Cheers!! My original choice was URBAN MACRO but I think that's actually like miniture mode which is not possible on phones. I think it's miniture mode anyway or photos of old rusty places in towns & cities. I long for the day phones can do 30 sec exposures or more!!

Another couple of tips: switch to night landscape scene, turn the self-timer to 2 seconds and put it on a flat surface (in case your phone can stand still on its side). Also the best night pics are taken at twilight when there's still some light in the sky
