Sounds more like a phone for Japan only that would be on Docomo's network. The name Xi does correspond with Docomo's LTE branding.
Anyway, what do you guys make of this:

Nope, Hayabusa will be a global device, not Japan only. BTW some guy on XDA received some leaked specs apparently and Hayabusa will come with a 1.9 ghz CPU
Plus unknown13x confirmed it being a global LTE device similar to the ION, but a very different design

I'm just guessing but I can see this Xperia Sola name being a red herring of sorts.
Similar to the way we saw the Xperia Duo name registered alongside Arc and Neo, but without fruition.
Sony know that people will notice these things and may want to mislead their competitors by implying they're developing something that they actually aren't. Or, they're hoping to attract the techie attention by implying something exciting is coming.
With Duo they were implying two of something, either dual-core or dual-screen or something. We had a good time trying to guess what it was.
With Sola they may well be trying to imply some sort of solar technology, it's not like solar hasn't been rumoured for upcoming fruit devices..
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

It might use dual-core krait or ti omap 4470,since both of them are running around 1.8ghz.Still,unknown13x did say,to not expect anything dramatically better than xperia S.Will shall see!!!!Dont forget that last year,we were all expecting xperia duo,and it never came. |

Yes but there is a difference cuz Duo was only a trademark application whereas we have solid proof on the Hayabusa. So the Hayabusa is very much a real device and will launch in July. Do you know which exact CPU is it that runs at 1.9 ghz ? I thought MSM8960 ran at 1.5 ghz. |

If Hayabusa has a HSPA+ fall back and it's a pentaband or at least support T-Mobile USA's Frquency , my Galaxy Nexus will go out the window. If ST-Ericsson is out of question, I do hope it would be 4470. |

I believe Nypon has the front-cam on left side, not right side.
Also I believe Nypon is mainly made from aluminum. My friend at SE/Sony in Lund said he was waiting for nypon as his next phone. Might be something to look out for.
Based on this source

it is. |
