Which are like small chips that you stick around your environment, like in your car etc. Then you swipe you phone near them and it changes the profile?

BTW, did they skip the transparent strip? Looks like a regular silverstrip now

I read on one of the texts posted here that it's transparent, but I may be wrong. Let's just wait for the official announcment occours.

Xperia ION looks like a slightly cosmetically modified version of the Xperia S from the quick clip AT&T showed in their live feed.

Ah, you are right, completely missed that.

The transparent element creates a base which highlights iconic silhouette and emphasizes the screen. It also provides lighting effects and integrates the components of the antenna.
