Well you all have heard/seen it already Just not on a Sony phone yet.

so maybe either these:

ClearBlack
X-Reality
Digital NR
3D
120Hz refresh rate
Dynamic LED with Local Dimming (to improve contrast ratio)

^^ All bravia TV features

Guys, the answer is already given. To make it easier to guess, the screen that LT25 has is the S-PLS (Plane Line Switching) screen from Samsung. It boosts Better image quality, higher brightness and wider viewing angles that cost less than IPS screen to manufacture.

Hmm. S-PLS... From the way it sounds, it's nothing really special, though we'll find that out later, at least we know its a product of newly formed JMD

hopefully some insiders could leak some LT25 pictures (even if it's blurry)

Another possible feature for LT25 tsubasa - will it sprout wings?

These screens are basically the same. Super LCD is just a trademark that's why they can't call it an IPS.

So it seems LT25 might satisfy some disappointed users complaining for the "poor" viewing angle of most sony phone displays

All of this screen and camera info reinforces my decision to wait until 2013 to get a Sony phone. If mint is the flagship but there are better screen techs coming, then I definately want to hold off. Plus this talk about cybershot tech on 2013 phones has me excited too.

This LT25 does interest me though. I wonder why it got the next gen screen tech and Mint didn't. Maybe it was developed too late or the size just doesn't work for the mint?

You will be absolutely right in waiting.
The 2013 range will be much more mature as products than any 2012 model. This year has been pretty much a mess really but next year things will be much more organized and efficient. You will see a lot more new Sony convergence technologies on 2013 Xperia devices than you will find on LT25/29/30.
The Displays are gonna be drool worthy and absolutely best in class, the cameras will be best in class as well and will offer many unique features exclusive to a Sony smartphone.
Wait until July/August 2013 for a Truly unique and exciting Sony Xperia Smartphone.

Though personally I'd wish you get the Mint or Hayabusa or Tsubasa as Sony definitely needs more sales. Every single phone sold counts
