Nooooo!!! I can't believe people are thinking that the Switzerland SONY facebook pics are from a phone.
Yes I believe there will be SE phones maybe new or tweaked ones, but those Teaser pics ARE THE WALKMAN Z!!!!!

I mean, no phone? PERFECT I dont like getting annoying messages, or annoying peoples when im having a walk....
no camera? mwheee, I was thinking about getting a Camcorder or something anyway.
No extendable memory SD slot?
LOL i Just buy 32/64 Gb so I dont have to worry about that.
And yes while it is very handy, and kinda a must have ( I also dont see why sony didn't build it in, probably for winning space)
I LOVE Clear Audio. so prefer those audio hardware thingys over Extendable memory.
now I am so waiting for the CES and that sony reveals it, and makes (STATES) a release date for the Z series (hopefully) in like Februari since i need a new MP3 like Right noa!!
(currently running a Sandisk Sansa Clip 4gb -_- which is broke as it let's my music stutter/ (3,5mm Jack cord plugin is like loose? idk, its lame anyway)
And my last (hightec phone was a Nokia n97 which also doesn't start up anymore.)
so this will be my new "gadget" to play with.
and hopefully ther will be no limitations to any Country like their last mp3 ones, which gave US like 16 MAX gb....
Altho I live in the Netherlands Europe, and we DID have the full memory MP3.
Limitations like these are not fair.
and now I cant wait for tomorrow PEACE to All!
PS: Sony just release the damn player allready I need/want/love/haveafetisj 4 Walkmans! |

No, but seriously, it's been clarified that it's the Walkman. This is a phone forum, after all. Mp3 players aren't exactly a popular topic here.

Welcome vSparta, interesting post. I agree the leaked images from the Sony fb are the walkman z by the looks of it, it also correlates with other supposed insiders linking the new walkman phone with other leaked shots NOT the walkman z.
Anyway, all will be revealed in 33 hours 40 minutes.

What's up with  naming?? They had great catchy names like Arc,Neo,Play,Active,Ray etc now we got Nozomi & Pepper   Don't think they would look so good in a store window with names like that

At this moment it is unclear which model correlates to Xperia™ Ion , but from the screen size we may come to the conclusion that it is LT28at. But it is not, if we take the info we got on the brand name placement and also that the LT28at was rumoured to have a 5 inch display. Our Source went further on to say that the Xperia™ Ion has brand name “Sony” below the screen while LT26i (Nozomi) has name “Sony” upside the screen. Still this is unclear if the phones will have both Sony Ericsson and Sony branding on them. The gist is that we will see two phones being revealed On Monday. Also smart things are expected to be announced such as a watch, wireless headset.

Well,i actually think that is repeating the same mistake they did in the past 2 years.They announce their main flagship early,and it is easily outspeced by competition within 2 months(the same happened to xperia x10 and xperia arc). Let's just hope that at least this year,Sony will come with something extremely high-tech in Q4. |

Well,the Galaxy S3 and the HTC flagship will destroy any chances Nozomi has,unless it is priced really competitive.What really bugs me is that Nozomi would have been the absolute Flagship phone for a Q4 release,however they passed on the possibility. |

Yes, because product codenames always become their production name. Like how the Satio was originally the Idou. Or how the Ray was originally the Urushi. |

i actually like nozomi as a phone name. it's the name of the fastest bullet train in japan and also means wish or hope. i wouldn't mind if my phone was named that...though it's probably not ideal for mass market.
