I'm happy if they just release gx, starting to think they will just settle for a slightly updated xperia s (like arc s) for everyone except japan. Would really be sony to do something like that and release gx 2013... Really hope they release sx too, seems to be an awesome phone. |

@Ricky D,
I will keep that in mind . Not for the southpark tho. That would be a big legal hassle.

apparently it's july 12, right?
I hope it is! cause that would mean release for sale sept/oct. i'm getting sick and tired of my x10 restarting and lagging and having all kinds of stupid issues. granted it's probably because i 1) dropped it and cracked the screen and 2) dropped it in water. but i would like to upgrade and i would like that upgrade to be a SONY phone! (Gx with LTE preferred).

I wouldn't expect to see 5 Nexus devices, but 2. One Nexus phone and one 10 inch Nexus tablet (Nexus 10). At the same time other vendors will introduce new devices (phones and tablets) running Android 5.0, but these won't be stock Android devices. Doing this Google could show that their new strategy to minimize fragmentation by delivering a PDK to hardware partners 3 month before announcement of the next OS iteration is working. |

android 5.0? you're kidding right? they just unveiled 4.1 last week! they aren't going to have 5.0 for a long time.

Could Sony be about to beef up its Xperia S smartphone? A new addition to the Xperia range has been spotted on an Indonesian website that goes by the name Sony Xperia SL.?

Er.. so what's happening with Hayabusa? Wasn't that supposed to be announced a while ago?

The FB countdown event was for the announcement of the Miro, I warned people not to get their hopes up, it was a bit disappointing.
We are still to have any concrete proof that Hayabusa will be announced. Hopefully, this month.

I'd have thought that they'd award the S, rather than the ion, since it has a more unusual and modernist design. Oh well.

Well the definitely should get design awards Sony. How different are their designs to the competition?? Very. Samsung would never win a design award. Sony phones look unique to the competition. Odd that they awarded the Active though :-/

The active does look very unique, though - with the eyelet and whatnot.

That's not surprising. The curvy design of the 2011 Xperias is miles ahead, compared to the new bricks.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |
